I hope you enjoy your new direction, I must admit though, I will miss seeing you play various games. Your Let's play of The Guild 2 and Industry Tycoon 2 both prompted me to pick those games up and, eventually, become a streamer and, shortly, a youtube content creator myself. I know you have to do what you enjoy, but I really think you were/are a good streamer and could even have a very good career in it. Though I believe with your current focus on your studies and career path you're attempting to finish I doubt you even want to do that anymore. Some things I really enjoyed about your Let's plays, even though you were having sometimes intense situations or exciting moments, you didn't scream into your mic about it, you did get excited but you didn't blow out our ear drums. I also liked that you went down the path of playing games that weren't the most common, I wouldn't say you were a gamer-hipster or anything, but you definitely struck a nerve with a bunch of people in that you didn't play the common LoL, Minecraft, Black-ops, Hearthstone rotation people seem to go down if they want to 'grow' their channel fast. When I saw that after a few years, I followed your example, I dislike those games now, not just because I've played many of them hundreds or thousands of times, but because I had a desire to see The Guild 2 streamed/recorded and I just couldn't find one whatsoever that went more than maybe 3 episodes? You helped fill that need and that was a good example. I will honestly miss your gaming videos, I'm not just saying that, I've commented a few times before that I was happy that you seemed to be coming back to your gaming videos and then I'd see you disappear again and I was like 'dammit, I hope he can find the time again.' There is a serious lack of people that play the more 'thinking man' games and while you say you didn't have a large subscriber base, I believe your videos were viewed by many that didn't click that sub button. I've played EVE pretty seriously for the last 11 years (15 accounts with 44 characters, I'm sorta invested...) and when I saw your videos on Industry I had to smile, they were well done and if people asked 'how do I MINE FOR FISH?' or whatever on how industry works, I'd point them towards your videos until the change to industry. I'm also hoping that by making this reply this long most people have said tl;dr by now and I can say that you were a small part of the inspiration of mine to become a streamer, I never talked to you directly but you were a good example of detailed and complex games getting the attention they can deserve, I stream under the same name on Twitch, just minus the 7 at the end of my name. I'm not trying to advertise on your channel, thus my comment that I hope by now most have ignored my long reply. I do hope the streaming 'bug' bites you again however, I play almost every single game you've shown on here and I believe our gaming genres are almost exactly the same. I'd really enjoy to see you 'come back' someday and I truly mean it when I say you are quite good at them. I won't say anything bad about your book reviews, they aren't my current cup of tea, I've done a metric TON of reading and a fair amount of writing in my life (only ameatur writing) but atm, I'm focusing on gaming as much as I can. But some things do stick out to me. If you can stay consistent, you'll 'win' long term, I know you said these videos are just for yourself, but just keep showing up and making em and you'll gradually get a great following. I take the same approach to streaming, I stream every single day for 4 to 8 hours. You are VERY consistent with your reviews and I believe they both will pay off long term for both of us. If you enjoy your book reviews over your gaming reviews, np, do what YOU love, that's all that matters. I will miss your reviews and introduction to a few more niche games, as I think will a few more people, but I'll keep liking your videos and hope you get from them what you want. Stay around, maybe drop a game review if you get the itch and thanks for the influence over the last years, it was helpful. I'll see you around and have a good night/weekend.

I really like listening to you and support your idea of a new channel. I would also appreciate better sound quality, if possible, as I find the current one pretty distracting. Also, I am not sure, whether you should really try and copy other formats. Just do whatever works best for YOU.
