Is pelagic fish( King, bonnis,,) still caught in NSW in July?
@HaiFishing10 күн бұрын
@@jayp1283 In July, Bonito are probable but Kings are unlikely. In July Kings go offshore to spawn in deeper waters like the continental shelf. They don’t come back to shore until later August or September

That’s a very interesting way to strike with that reel, what PE you put in there bro?
@HaiFishing12 күн бұрын
@@indosydneyfishing I put 400m of PE4 Daiwa Expedition braid on it. Bought it for big Mulloway, Snapper and Longtail off the rocks and beach there. It lets the fish take the bait without tension, for those picky eaters. It snaps into set/locked drag when you start winding so you can set the hook and immediately pump them in. also meant to ask, have you got any tips for finding new ledges, like with how marine charts should look and stuff like that, and thanks again for replying to my other comment
@HaiFishing22 күн бұрын
@@ben9219 Best way to do it is just pack as light as possible and go on hikes on coastal trails. Many spots have been fished by people before but you’ll only find the way down by exploring those coastal trails on foot. That’s the best way to find paths that people take to get down to the ledges. Look for deep pockets or deep drop offs near the ledges you’re thinking of fishing. Often fish hunt around those deep drop offs waiting for prey to swim past or out of the shallows. Goodluck!

@HaiFishing mate I can't wait for that. Not much content out there for that topic. Just recently got into live baiting and absolutely loved it. I'm going up to Port Stephens on Monday so if you release it before then that'll be wicked. Btw have u been there in port Stephens. I'm not asking for a ledge but in general if you know where people fish off a rock ledge it will be greatly appreciated. Would love a winter king.

@@grunty3743 Have a look at the rocks along the coast south of there, heaps of spots around there. Google Maps is a great tool to help find those walking trails. @HaiFishing22 күн бұрын
@@ben9219 Hey bro, thanks for watching! Winter fishing is difficult everywhere in NSW during Winter unfortunately. Your best bet is to save on fuel and fish your closest ledge or beach using bait. Bait is the best for Winter when the fish are too lethargic to chase lures or jigs. If you have the cash and free time, I would flight to the Northern Territory or Far North Queensland and chase fish up there where the weather and water is still very warm throughout Winter

@HaiFishing22 күн бұрын
@@hieudotrung6434 I usually fish very secluded hard to get to rock fishing ledges that involves a lot of hiking 30mins-1hour (some times even over 2 hours hiking) with also some vertical cliff free climbing at times. I don't recommend it as it's very dangerous without years of experience. Best to look up well known spots on Google and scout them out yourself or hire a professional rock fishing guide like Alex Bellisimo. Alex is a rock fishing legend who can show you the ropes and make sure you can do it safely and go home with a great feed. Goodluck!

your videos are very educational , do you mind me asking would you prefer the Zenaq Muthos Sonio 93M rod or the 100m version ?
@HaiFishingАй бұрын
Hey bro, the Sonio 93M is more suitable if you’re planning to do more stickbaiting and soft plastic fishing. The Sonio 100M is more suitable for shore jigging. So, I would choose based on what type of fishing you’re planning to do more of. But both rods can do all of the above, it just comes down to what you do more with the rod. For me I stickbait a lot more than I jig so I prefer the 93M
