It's such a crap video. No wonder it took 14 years to get its first reply. ;-)

"why do we put up with it" Because you don't have the income or you find it too troublesome to purchase your own vehicle, pay for gas, insurance, downtown parking. Leaving you and many others at the mercy of the TTC. What can ya do ?!

RoulinBrooks, you should read the book of John in the New Testament first when reading the Holy Bible for the first time. It will give you, basically, an understanding of what the whole book is about.(Which is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and his sacrifice for us) Tim LaHaye has a great book on "How To Read the Bible." ... Also, thanks for posting. It's fun to see others' libraries.

As I've mentioned in other comments, this was just a dopey toss-off video that I filmed on a whim. I wasn't really pissed off in the video. It was just meant as a joke. I don't get all the dislikes. For better or for worse, though, it's still--by far--my most watched video. I rescue a baby raccoon. Next to no views. I spend three weeks in Burma. Ditto. It amazes me that this bonehead video has received so much attention. Having said all that, the TTC still sucks.

Dude, It's not getting worse at all, maybe this was taken at late night, or maybe trains were running on late schedule. At least whenever I'm on the TTC, trains are usually on time. You're opposite, The TTC is never getting ever worser. Thats what you think! Get some Patients!!!

Nice alligators... As for the Lucky Dog cart in New Orleans, have ever you read John Kennedy Toole's "A Confederacy of Dunces"? It's one of the funniest books I ever read. New Orleans from the first till the last page.

Thanks for the comment! Amsterdam is out of this world. I love it there. I returned this past April (no video, though) and will be going again next month. I can never get enough of that beautiful city.

I really wanted to get a good view of what it was like to *actually* be in Amsterdam from a regular person's point of view - your video had some AWESOME footage and showed realistic scenes of it. That place is freaking beautiful. I can't wait to go myself.

I've been on metro systems all over the world (ALL better than Toronto), but can't comment on Rome's because I've never been there (one day!). I imagine that the problem with striking workers isn't as bad in Toronto. Wildcat strikes are a real problem in Europe. But Toronto transit workers have had wildcat (and illegal) strikes in the past. Things are running and then twenty minutes the whole system is locked up. The Toronto union leader, a scumbag named Bob Kinnear, is a complete slimeball.
@crosscountrytc12 жыл бұрын
Now I haven't been to Toronto (but I will be visiting there soon), but I think it's probably better than Rome's. Rome's metro is TERRIBLE. Not only are the trains always late, but you never know when the workers will go on strike, as they do it all the time. Ugh. Hopefully my experience in Toronto will be better than Rome.

And yet rankings for customer service are at an all time low. 99% on time? In your dreams. And I'm also talking about buses and streetcars. Wait at Pape station for a #25 for half an hour and then four pull in at the same time.
@vistarox12 жыл бұрын
The TTC is far from being the "worst fucking transit system" in the world. Trains on the Bloor-Danforth and Sheppard lines are on time 99% of the time and 93% of the time on the Yonge-University Spadina line.

Beautiful falls. On another note, I've been keeping my eye on the three falcon chicks on top of the Sheraton Hotel in Hamilton on their "falcon cam." Really interesting to watch. The chicks have been named after local waterfalls. As of yesterday two of the three chicks had made their first flights. This morning the third chick made his first flight. Felker.

@threeby8887 They were in my shed so that's not as bad as my house. And the problem is that I live on a ravine with thousands--tens of thousands--of raccoons. Relocating a mother raccoon and her family wouldn't make any difference. I shot this video a year and a half ago, though, and haven't had any raccoon "invasions" since.
@3243_13 жыл бұрын
If I discovered raccoons living in my house, I'd just trap them all and relocate them many miles away into an unoccupied wilderness area.

@MaximumRD Transit should be super-efficient *everywhere*, especially in this day and age with such serious concerns about the environment. Too bad that's not the case. For the most part, my beef with the TTC isn't about the drivers. I've seen some rotten ones in my day. But a number of great ones, too. My next door neighbour just became a TTC driver. Nicest guy in the world. No, my problem is more with endless delays and problems--always at rush hour. It just gets worse and worse . . .
