Witch wheel is faster ???? Or gives you more performance

if you curb rash your wheels, maybe driving lessons would be in order! we own a 2023 model 3 DM as well as a 2024 model Y DM, and both have 19" wheels and see no justifiable economic or ego reason to change them...

Honestly, the 7-seater. It's just more practical being able to fold down all the seats in the middle and rear.

APpre4ciate that info but i need specs on acceleration bro. Am expecting huge differences in 0-60 MPH on these different wheels. HELP me with this please and I will sub.

Yet another wrinkle with tesla. ughh. not enough wheel choices. well go figure, they are a new company and must save money where ever they can.

Well then i guess the choice is obvious. no not too many cool aftermarket, my big deal is to low of a profile looks like crap.

Very informative, thanks! Which one is better in mitigating road noise? I guess 20” with more rubber? Seriously considering between the two configuration.

One question I didn't see answered, in the 6 or 7 seater arrangement, do the back two seats fold together, or can I have one up and one down to allow for more storage if I only have 5 people?

I got my M3P in blue + with interior. The color just has so much depth in the sunlight, and the blue and white combo is just gorgeous. I like red too, but the color itself is so bland compared to Tesla's other red offerings (Midnight Cherry Red, Ultra Red etc...), I'm not sure why they don't offer those colors on the Model 3.

I'm so glad I found this video. I'm just purchased my first Tesla, a Model X. I love it. Based on this information and since I don't have a ton of driving every week, I will try and keep my battery around the 50-60% level when I charge. When I get down to 30%, I'll charge it up to 50-60%. Does that sound like a good plan? I always thought I should charge up to 80% each time, but if I don't have a lot of miles to drive, I won't. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot. I have ordered Tesla M3 Highland on 18 wheels. But now, I am comparing between 18 and 19, because 18 wheels have more range, and 19 looks more better 😅 Additionally, I can not make a decision about color of the car. I have ordered the white one, but know I am thinking about red. Red looks amazing. But I am worried about care of this color

You missed average cost of tire replacement for each tire size. You also could’ve gone into how the aero wheels are more efficient.

still a relevant vid with great info. the 22s are so likely to get damaged...and will need replacing by 20k due to tire wear or loose foam (wheel shimmy). I keep a pack of sharpies on hand for the curb rash (all 4 wheels and both my wife and I have done it due to the poor turn radius vs our benz GL). Tesla is taking care of us with a buyback on our 2022 X due to the falcons (our car was one of the first refreshed to be made in mar 2022). We only want another X and will be going for the 20s this time on a 2023 or 2024.

I am used to charge to 80% daily but I use the car only an hour a day. 70% seems the right spot for daily use and “surprise” longer driving. For long trips, I put at 100% for the road, back to 70% while at the destinations until the day I need to return. Then I out it at 100% again for the road.

You forgot to mention that the 21 inch rims crack constantly and it’s 2000 to replace them the car weighs so much that the rims can’t handle the weight so when you hit a pot hole or speed bump anything small it can crack the rim

I'm glad I watched this video. I should have my new Model Y within the next week and there is quite a lot to learn about charging these vehicles. I will be using it for daily commutes of about 30 total miles. We also have a couple of vacations this year, one about 150 miles away and another 350 miles away. I'll probably start with charging to 80% daily. For the trips, I'll do 100% to get a feel for how much extra mileage I get. I'm sure I'll make adjustments as I get more familiar with the car.
