These panzers should be in the movie. A remake of the movie " Battle of the Bulge."

I hope they consider atmosphere and music with this. Old WoT nailed it before they destroyed it (along with many other things) in update 10. Had a way of drawing you in and building tension without you even noticing.

We have forgotten history itself. We have forgotten what caused WWI and WWII and we're making the same mistakes again, which are leading us to the exact same result. So, these vehicles have no "historical value" anymore. They're just...big toys for big boys.

It served us well in the Royal Navy, it's not ugly, you're just jealous because it's not an American designed and built plane. My uncle worked on these Gannet's, they are superbly built and reliable and does it's job well and was surprisingly economical dispite it's heavyweight looks and it's turboprop engine.

Anybody else cringed every time the tracks on the M88A2 snapped? I sure did. That's almost 70 tons that Herc was moving around. Meanwhile, the M88A2 only weights 68.5 tons.

I don’t think that flamethrower shown early in the video is a legit flamethrower they used in Vietnam. Looked like a WW2 era launcher, not quite as long reach. Could be wrong.

I enjoyed JB's tour of the Bradley, I designed the 380 links, levers, cams, castings and hydraulic parts that went into the production Bradley controller back in the early 1980s for GE. One of the tough duties that I had was keeping the manufactured parts from being degraded by management that only wanted to make transmissions and ship them. I had verbal wars with management that wanted me to accept steer system links that would have given sloppy steering creating a vehicle that couldn't go in a straight line, etc. My usual winning argument was that they were my bosses and had the authority to sign for the bad parts themselves when I wouldn't. They wouldn't sign either when faced with putting their own name on the batch of bad parts.

@@Sofilein Question as I am supposed to be traveling to GA this December to visit my father as well as the Collection! What would be the chances the Jagdtiger will be on display to any extent?? I am REALLY looking forward to see the T29/T30 as well as the Tiger and Tiger 2. Seeing the Jagdtiger and IS3 would put a smile on my face like none other.

@ so they have it in a work bay usually, and the door is closed, but for open houses the bay door *should* be open. Same for the Jagdpanther. It might be one or the other though, I’m not sure 100% if they do both. Enjoy!! It’s such a cool collection. Overwhelming amount of cool vehicles 😅

These days, World of Tanks is more fittingly described as a "monetization platform based on a tank game" rather than just a tank game. It has lost its soul, as far as I am concerned. I really hope Steel Aces will be a fresh breath of air. But if you guys decide to sell premium tanks as well, I have just one - or rather two - things to ask for: 1) Do not make them better than tech tree tanks. They don't have to be worse, either, but no pay-to-win tanks, please. And 2) If premium tanks turn out stronger than tech tree tanks anyway because, well, you never know - then please do not be afraid to nerf them. Do not repeat WG's same crappy mistakes!
@Sofilein29 күн бұрын
Yes, both of those main points have been part of the devs’ overall vision for the game. Im with you on that, WoT lost the plot a long time ago.
@phantomechelon3628Ай бұрын
Already got this on my Steam wishlist. Can't wait for it to be released! Even as a demo it looks really nice and as long as the devs avoid the pitfalls of certain other tank games (boring metas, broken premium / loot box vehicles, premium ammo etc.) it should become the go-to tank game.
