Every anime fan base is toxic in their own way. Mainly because all the entire community wants to do is argue. We just can’t let people enjoy what they enjoy.

Ok sure the animation and artstyle was incredible however the plot/story was lack luster. I hope the anime changes this but the manga has always been criticized because of TYBW's ending. Yhwach's defeat made no sense and Aizen's integration into the plot had authorial intentions behind it but was executed in a way that it was most definitely fan service at that point. Quincy/Sternritters had so much potential to be well written but only two of the members beside Yhwach were good with both of them having the same backstory. Uryu's entire character arc was mediocre or decent at best even though it had great potential and I wished we delved deeper into his character. Even then I would say TYBW is a solid 8/10 and even the previous manga readers accepted it. But then the anime comes around and everyone is fascinated by the animation that they all begin to claim that TYBW is the best arc in big 3 or shonen which is not true. But I have to give credit where credit is due, its foreshadowing was extremely good and had a lot of good plot twists at the start. Anything before Yhwach gets Almighty was peak and even some interactions afyer that were good. Ichigo's backstory also was revealed and imo made a lot of sidecharacters more complex with all the love triangle stuff going on with his mom.

Sub always. It’s not that Dubs are bad. They’re great but og Japanese voice actors are so talented that they bring lives out from the fictional characters. For example, Goated character like Erwin n Eren from AoT, Luffy from One Piece, Thorfinn from Vinland Saga, etc cannot be replaced by dubbed voices.

Animation isn't everything. The stakes and vibes are still there in Blue Lock plus it's a good story. If u can read the Manga and watch black and white still images then in color images with great graphic and sound shouldn't be a problem.
