Hunter x hunter is the epitome of shonen. It sets the bar for all anime that came after it. The anime gives a good ending for what it was. The story is obviously continuing so any complaints about the ending isn’t valid. Hunter x Hunter does such a great job of not wasting the viewers time for being almost 150 episodes.

Preston’s right HxH anime isn’t more than an 8… it’s too incomplete. Anime endings are supposed to be bitter sweet, HxH just leaves you bitter. Incomplete plot lines, unsatisfying meeting w a deadbeat (who was the whole plot), boring fights from the second half of Chimera Ant arc to the end, and dragged out plot, and an OK world… only thing it did phenomenally was character writing. The characters are what keeps you.

Hot takes were very hot! Another banger episode. Crying at Preston saying for demon slayer "overhyped" hahahahahaha. The word overhyped is so misconstruct and it really is depending on each and every person. I'm gonna go with Stain from my hero...let's weed out the fraud. But he may not be "villain" enough. P.S. I knew it was episodic (I have a friend who preaches Cowboy Bebop and it's messaging) and as I was watching, it was just a big disconnect for me and the show in terms of being entertained. If isolating each episode as it owns piece, I was bored. Usually I vibe with the majority but this one....I can't live on that hill with everyone else. 🥲
