Ya know, you could put a big chunk of cherry wood on the coals for a little added smoke flavor? Enjoy!

You definitely can learn from mistakes. But hey at least it was saved 😊 I miss having fresh/smoked salmon. Sometimes we would bring it to a friend on the Indian reservation to have him smoke the salmon for us 😋

Well I learned from this one for sure. It isn't bad just strong. Smoking salmon is by far my favorite way to have salmon. Glad you enjoyed it!

What a brilliant smoker. Enjoy that fish. Thats a process im yet to try but its on the agenda for this winter especially as i found a local bulk meat supplier who sells whole primals A carnivores dream.

Oh my that sounds really good. Just about anything can be made into a smoker. I've even seen them made out of old pallets and roofing tin. The key is the brine. Figure that out and you can't go wrong!

Man O’ man would I love to get my hands on a cabinet like that! That is an awesome idea and glad the fish came off those racks as easily as it did for not having any skin. Thanks for sharing the idea and tips. 😊

What a great idea for a smoker! I don't think I've ever had smoked salmon. Now I'm gonna have to find some. Or make it myself.

Well you have my number.... I love my salmon smoked just short of jerky . That way it doesn't grease up the rolling papers .

Nice! It turned out a little strong in both smoke and brine flavor but we've eaten four jars already so it can't be too bad!
