Sneaky edit before i replied there. . I'll go with your first response and accept that you love Coromandel. . I mean you'd be crazy not too 😜. Definitely no click bait situation here, my thumbnails and headlines ain't that exciting 😅. You know my declutters are genuine and i always listen out for that little vulture from T' North. Unless it's Nova which of course sends you packing in the opposite direction. Noir de noir definitely sunk it's teeth in this time. . Haha 😂 well love is such a strong word, I can't commit to anything like that. Vultures are nature's great recyclers ensuring they get love from what isn't wanted by others 🤣. Nova it's fair to say nobody could pay me to wear that one. Anytime, it's a rare treat 😊

Thank for watching, yes our noses definitely change course don't they. Exposure to new things and new experiences, it's a maturity thing too perhaps. I keep the odd fragrance that has sentimentality but most of them are ones I've bought on a whim and have grown tired of. 👌

Totally agree about Gentle Fluidity Gold and Angel Nova, loooovvvinggg Coromandel too, could wear it everyday even in the heat 😅. Definitely in my vintage era older school scents 🙌👌😍 Wish we could try more from Rouge Parfumery. A cheapy, but a goody that I heard about from Skinscents for Fusspotsis is L'Aimant by Coty, soapy fizzy clean with a hint of No. 5, enjoying it a lot in the dry down especially xx

Wish Rogue would hear our plea to ship to UK 🤣. It's a crime. Yes these old school scents are definitely feeling appreciated. Maybe there's just too many bad fragrances out there now that are forcing us to find better. 👌 thanks for watching

I wore Angel Nova a few weeks ago and I felt something similar, I'm not sure it's me right now. I really like Chanel l'eau. Chanel was a brand i really didnt gel with originally but they are quickly becoming one of the more numerous brands in my collection. I get so confused with the Amouages, I might have tried Lyric but I might not have done, I don't remember it anyway 😂 it sounds good though! Happy to see Noir de Noir back too 😊

Hey Claire, yes totally the same. Chanel was a brand i never thought I'd ever gel with but im appreciate the elegance and simplicity of them lately. . Which i guess is the total opposite to fragrances like Nova. I still think it's a cool scent but the base was wearing too screechy and not enjoyable at all. Waiting for some atomisers to arrive and I'll send you some lyric woman 👌. Also need to send you some other bits too x

I think the phrase you were looking for with Oud Nude is "body odor." 🤣 At least that's what I get with it. I'm a bit surprised you got rid of Angel Nova but I totally get your reasons...with all of them, actually. You are motivating me to dig out my bottle of Chypre Siam and wear it but not sure how it would do in 35 degree weather. 🥵 I love the kaffir lime in that fragrance, though. Love your description of Noir de Noir. ❤ Great video!

Hey Jim, thanks yes Chypre Siam has given me the feels. Perhaps it's a little too heavy for this heatwave we're having but generally it's pretty lovely to wear all the time. Skin, woody, musky, etc etc. . Not sure why i didn't just say Body odour 🤣🤣 but yes, glad it's not just me that thinks this. Once you smell it, you can't unsmell it. I've been on the fence with Nova for a while now, i always loved that profile but that heavy base was starting to get shouty in a bad way unfortunately. Hope your keeping cool in the heat xxx

Lovely video mate! Yes our noses change don't they. I am finding myself sort of drilling down on my already small collection. I've been trying to use up things that I just like or like for a bit, and really just want things I love that I feel like I will always love. Like you said, some well made, classic scents. I am also loving sampling again at the moment, although I do find that more difficult when it is very warm weather. Also still kind of ill, 5th day of this blinkin virus 😂 Hope you are feeling better love ❤

Please never stop doing your videos they are a sense of calm to me personally. Beleive me… I know about the perfume ramble and feeling like you don’t make sense. I don't own very many Chanel fragrances but you talked about two of them! Love Edimbourg and Coromandel. That chair is awesome. 😍 Mousse Illuminée sort of reminds me of the original Polo by Ralph Lauren. It's an amazing fragrance. Cheers, Lizzie!

I'm suspecting you and me have very similar tastes Jim 👌🤣. We always match with the good ones. Although Mousse Illuminee didn't work out. It's a beautiful one, and i love the nuances but there's something so musty that's swamping the base and just doesn't work on me at all. But seems Chypre Siam was meant to be 💚

The Charlotte Tilbury fragrances look much better in real life, people were dissing the bottles in the comments of my review but I think they look great on the shelves in store, that one is for sure the most interesting of the set. 💚

I genuinely really enjoyed both the bottle and the packaging. Very whimsical and potion - esq. The bottle is quite eye catching in my cabinet so it's not half bad. I didn't really give the other perfumes in this line up much time but this one was the only one i had any interest in. Luckily it worked out. 💚🌱👌

I think it's a plantain, Plantago lanceolata, I only know that from learning that at school for a project 😂

Thanks Claire. Actually it might be both growing out from there. The larger leaves are definitely dandelion as their more slender and grow out more independently, whereas the plantain leaves tend to be rounder, and sit flat and tighter together. I usually pick them for my Guinea pigs 😂. But i think perhaps both plants are trying to claim that little nodule

Firstly that chair 😍 it is absolutely gorgeous isn't it. A nice throne to view your grounds. Yes I have to say the Roja surprised me, it's very nice. Damn useless little nodule 🤣. We both get a lemony Elemi 😱. The Rogue one does sound like a good mistake and a lovely one. I am a moss struggler generally. But yea that one does sound really interesting, it sounds very you. A beautiful description of Faun, it is so very good isn't it. Yes a damp early autumn or late spring forest to me. Edimbourg sounds very Chanel but a pleasant enough green one. It will be a great birthday present. Magic Energy, I've not sniffed that one yet. It has a lot of listed notes. I haven't given the others a fair wear, I don't think I can stomach more than once 🤣. You've made this one sound nice though 😊 Yes you are a Coromandel super fan. I'm glad that whatever the heck I sent you didn't influence u 🤣🤣🤣. Yes it's a big patchouli one isn't it. That bottle is massive. I like the changing of minds with things. Our tastes definitely change and evolve. I never get compliments 😅 I know I smell good. Thanks geezer for another fab one

🍋🍋🍋 Yes elemis is definitely lemony, no mistaking it. Midsummer Dream is such an opulent beauty,perhaps a green scent for posh nights. Magic Energy won't knock your socks off in a good way, I'm sure 🤣🤣🤣. But hopefully it won't offend you either. Yes, if your sample of coromandel was all i had to go on, i would never had known how beautiful it was. I think you'd be interested to sample that Chypre Siam, it's a lovely one. Yes my old root chair throne is looking out at my grounds and wondering why the northern help isn't hard at work weeding, i suspect he's slipped off into the next garden to pick flowers that don't belong to him 😉🌷🪻🌱

I've tried a couple of great crunchy vegetal green scents recently... Panorama from Olfactive Studio, Green Spell from Eris, Cedre Figalia from Atelier Materi. I also smelled Bel Respiro from Chanel and the galbanum in that was incredible. To wear on myself I prefer green nuances with citruses/florals. But I really love uber green scents just to smell 🍀

Thanks for an informative video. Green is an odd one, I think. At least for me. I love galbandum, but vetivere and oak moss are not as easy for me. They have many sides whereas galbanum is fresh, uplifting, slightly sweet in it's bitters. Lol, Idk. I'd love to try A Midsummer's Night Dream. And I think Jon has talked about Faun favorably. There are fragrances that some of us not in the UK or EU will never experience 😭 (I also want to try Lunar Dust!) Édimbourg looks interesting, but aldehydes are a weird one to get my head around. I haven't had luck with fragrances that are marketed this way, but I'm sure their a component of fragrances I love.

Hi, thanks for commenting. Lots of these green notes have a side im not fond of. Moss can definitely be hit or miss, but it's more the idea in my head of what i expect it to smell like, and these fragrances seem to deliver something along those lines. Galbanum is tricky, i like in some ways, but not in general. Faun is a beauty, such a shame it was a limited batch. Vetiver is another tricky note. I've smelt it in a walnuty way when i don't mind it, but sometimes it can be bitter or too dry. I like it in a supporting role 👌 Hope you get to sample Midsummer Dream. It's a special one 🌱🙏

I am a floral girl; floral bomb, fruity floral, musky floral, fresh floral, woody floral, love most any floral. I have a very long hot dry summer (today is 94 F/ 34 C) so fruity and citrus florals are my go to. Most unisex fragrance pulls masculine on me so I have to have florals to balance out the wear.
