The guy didn't explain the meaning of Asaase Yaa properly. In Akan, Yaa is the name of a female born on a Thursday, and since the Earth was created by God on a Thursday, and Earth is fruitful like a female, Akans attributed female values/ significance to Earth, hence the name Asaase Yaa. Similarly God's name in Ashante Twi is Onyankopon Kwame since God rested on a Saturday after creation

That’s a good chunk of judeochristo beliefs rolled in, no where in West Africa was there a 7 day week, that came with the colonizers. No Thursday (Thors day, Greek god), no Saturday (Saturn Day, Greek god). These are all imported ideas from Europe and inherited locally, while the original system was destroyed hundreds of years ago

This is great and I am curious that compared to Royal Kingdom Estates in the Eastern Region or Asebu in the Central Region, there is so little actual construction of homes taking place. All I see is demarcated plots and fence walls but very little actual development. I live in Prampram so I have a vested interest in having new neighbors from the Diaspora.
