Your video is very helpful, unfortunately I ran into issues when adding devices like switches and dimmer switches. Not sure if its because my stuff were 2 or 3 years old, but I had to search google for solutions to my problems. Mainly I was getting no data point errors which was easy enough to find solutions on github forum. Also I had to play with the protocol version to see what works and what doesn't.

I built mine this weekend following your video and it works great!! I do notice a couple things I wanted to ask you about 1. the low volume level is really low and at full volume it is not very loud is there a setting for this in the yaml? 2. When I ask it something and it has a follow-up question it is not listening for my reply is this an easy fix?

1. In my config, which is there in this article: smarthomecircle.com/created-voice-assistant-esp32-with-wake-word-in-home-assistant I am able to adjust the volume in Home Assistant , because I am using the media_player component. 2. I haven't asked it a question yet, for which it asks me for another question. 😃 Are you using AI in your assist pipeline?

But my home computer that I'm using home assistant on is still connected to that same switch....but there's more after I got into this problem I tried to do everything all over again from scratch by deleting the device from local tuya and trying again, but now my issue is that my tuya developer account keeps saying I have no permission when I go to api explorer go to device manager then the next spot I can't remember, but it's the spot where you put the device i.d in so you can get access to the local key. Problem is it says I have no permission and gives me a short code also saying I have no permissions in a nut shell. How do I get permission again.

Hi, I run a ESP32-S3-Wroom-1 as voice assistant, I installed micorphone and speaker and I think Pins are fine. I don't want to use mww I prefer a wakeword which I created myself and run it on HA. I would like to use and external media player, my homepod for the answer, however the small connected speaker should run as well. I got the micorphone to work, so I can switch lights on and off run scripts etc. thats fine and the mic is by far better than the one of the M5Atom. However I neither get the connected speaker to run nor the media player. I'll add the .yaml in a thread, can someone help me to find out whats wrong with the configuration? This was a fun project to build. The only issue I have with mine (N16R8) is it randomly starts acting up at times with stuttering/choppy audio (maybe some sort of buffer issue?), and then the board then becomes stuck and unresponsive to any new voice commands until I restart it. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, do you know of any solutions?

These are great little sensors. I use three of them around my house, and created an automation last year that uses my basement Xiaomi sensor as the trigger source (humidity above 65% for 15 minutes) to turn on a Sonoff plug, which in turn powers my Danby dehumidifier for 20 minutes (this dehumidifier remembers the on/off state should power be cut and restored). Because I wrote a minimum break between cycles and run the device long enough to lower humidity fairly significantly, it now tends to run only once per hour, and thus avoids any potential damage to the compressor from excessive short cycles.
