I too love the haircut! I had to laugh at your hat decorating. A while ago now, I was part of a women’s network that held a high tea event annually as a fundraiser for an Ovarian Cancer charity. We organised bags of items from a local charity to sell for $20. Buyers made decorated hats using the items. There was 3 categories: business, individual and junior. A local millinery training school was involved, with students also competing for the prizes. We had a judging team including a millinery lecturer. The hats were displayed at the high tea event where winners were announced. Guests dress code included hats of course. We also had a gold coin vote for most popular hat. We used to get 30-40 entries. The hats were later displayed for sale at the charity shop in the lead up to our national Melbourne Cup race which stops Australia on 5 November each year. We called it High Tea on the High Seas as it was held at the seaside. We used to get around 100-120 women at the event. Such a lot of fun! So absolutely loved your hat making session! You’ll rock on Christmas Day! 👒🎩🥳❤️❤️❤️
