Love this deck ! Hopefully set 4 gives it a couple more tools

@@James-qv7dj yeah same. Hopefully we get some more “option” cards where we can either draw or defeat/do damage to an opponent

I saw Strategic Analysis in the sideboard and was immediately hooked lol I wish this was the leader that made Mission Briefing viable. So close 😔
@SWUDAD3 күн бұрын
Yeah Strategic Analysis can definitely be good in here making Pre Vizsla a 6/6 when it flips. I think it's worth testing 2x copies in the mainboard in a control list like this.

Added in "Strategic Anaylsis" into the mainboard. Feels great. Drawing 3 cards on same turn that you flip Pre Vizsla ensures that it is a 6/6, and it's just a great card late game as well to dig for your finishers and do 3 damage to a unit easily. I have 1 in mainboard, and 1 in sideboard as of now

My first iteration was unit heavy. Basically Gar Saxon Red. Slotted in Jango + Ki-Adi. Weak deck, but cool in theme

Nice. Yeah I have messed around a little with red. It's fun, but definitely not consistently good and easily loses to other aggro decks in the format

Imho it's pretty dumb that u can have 6x POTDS...I mean, how are u supposed to counter that if all yours plays just vanish before u can even do a single action. I know it' s part of what a control deck should do, but in others TCG, way to counter spells exist. Not everyone want to play sabine and I know for sure i' m not the only one having hard times vs this kind of things. These types of hard control decks don't seem to be a huge problem cause in PQ and other official event are slow and u have to get done ur match in time or it's a double loss, but certainly take away lot of fun from the game (imho) in weekly plays.

I absolutely understand the frustration. I used to hate control myself. First off check out my video on "How to Beat Control". kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnK3i3SgaMlmptU These types of strategies below are strong against control. Unfortunately, this is something you need to keep in mind in all of your lists. As PQ's approach a lot more people will play control style decks because Bossk Blue for example has good matchups across the board right now so they are betting on their skill as a player when they play that deck. Hand disruption (Force Throw, Pillage, K-2SO, Spark of Rebellion, Bazine) Going Wide and being super aggressive (Kylo Red/Ashoka Green, Han2 Green) Mill Strategies (Iden Blue, Yoda Blue (Vigilance/Restock/Bounty Hunter Crew) Emperor Palpatine (Stealing their units, Card advantage) Refilling Your Board (darth Vader, U-Wing Reinforcement, Home One)

How do you beat control decks like this one? I really struggle against them no matter what I’m playing
