Yes but if you are putting more weight on the front where you are turning it can make is harder to turn and pull at lower speeds but with how slippery it seems you would need weight on the back
@MTBJonnie9 күн бұрын
@@BallClapper speed on steep slabs is completely controlled by the front brake and tire. Lean too far back and there’s not enough weight and it will slip. Need lots of weight on that front tire for traction.

I have Rallon 2023 with RS super deluxe coil which made it much better at the back and a bit more forgiving. It is a fun bike, but it is hard to control it at super steep chatter or maybe I'm just a bad rider on those sections. I'm wandering if installing 230x62 shock effectively make it 2024 model? According to Rallon blue paper manual the 2022-2023 frames are compatible with that shock size. In my mind 230x62 shock would relax coil preload a bit to achieve the desired sag and as the result would soft the rear for tiny bit.

Thanks @Jon Mottern for this review. I had a very hard time deciding on the SX and thanks to this review I pulled the trigger. This is exactly 100% the bike I wanted. I have built it from frame with Kitsuma AIR and thanks to more overall damping this bike is a rocketship, it is very supportive and playful. I was running full 29er enduro before and this is much more agile on slower speeds and still super stable at high speeds. And is climbs great, but 27.5 wheel is a limiting factor here, so nothing to complain, if you want a mullet you need to take this into account.

Im 510 with a long torso. Med goes from 5-8 to 5-11. But large is 510 to 6-3. I generally like a larger feeling bike but my old trail bike is alot smaller then this bike. Shoud i run the med or large from your opinion from riding this bike
@MTBJonnie2 ай бұрын
@@lincoln_tk3022 man it’s so hard to answer that question without seeing you on the bike. Bike manufacturers generally suggest short torso folks sizing down and long torso folks sizing up. But that doesn’t always ring true either.
