Diane didnt have to sneak and get her tubes tied. She chose to do that rather than communicate with her husband. He was straight forward in telling her what he wanted and tried to communicate. She was sneaky and secretive and evasive. I agree they probably should've broken up because children and lifestyle are not really things you can compromise on. And if we keepin it all the way real, I dont think she was really into him like that.

It's very interesting hearing a black woman's perspective on this movie.

For the record, this movie supposedly played down Ike Turner's infidelity. In Ike's autobiography, "Takin' Back My Name", he described one night when he was still married to Tina where he paid for the services of six prostitutes for a male friend of his. However, Ike himself ended up having sex with all six of them in the same night. I think if that anecdote were in the movie, no one would believe it.
