Great action guys! Young dogs,nice points and retrieving. Here’s a tip for the one giving shells to person who’s out: for each shell the borrower must carry one bird of the lender. It’s a fair trade in chukar country.

Thanks Rich! Somehow they know to stay close in the grouse woods. I believe it’s because in the dense woods, they loose track of us at a much closer distance than in the prairies where they can see us hundreds of yards away.

We hunt Maine every year. Typically the west side near NH. I was wondering if you would tell me about where you were? Don’t have to tell me a town. But northern, southern, eastern, western? We were up same week. Had excellent grouse hunting. Not so excellent woodcock. Thanks guys! Great vid!
