I like all the tech on new bikes , but i also appreciate the simplicity of the old bicycles. I just recently got a Trek 7200 multitrack it's a nice bike and very simple.

I just wanted to say thank you for making this video even though you made it 7 years ago you'll probably never see this comment but I just got the same exact lawn mower for free and it's got a surge when it runs and I've changed the spark plug and I was getting ready to change and clean the carburetor but I didn't want to take it apart if that wasn't the problem because the last time I got a lawn mower it wasn't the carburetor that was the problem it was the valve guide clearance that was the problem and it had a really big knock and it was making it surge. So I greatly appreciate you making this video cuz I have the literal exact same lawn mower the only problem is is I don't have a carburetor kit and I need the lawn mower to run tomorrow cuz I have a a side job I have to do for somebody so hopefully with cleaning the carburetor out that will fix the problem for the most part at least for me to get this one job done and then if I need to buy a carburetor kit or the float ring then I will do soor I'll see if I can't take one out of a Toro or Husqvarna lawn mower that I have I don't know if those float rings will fit but never hurts to try😂😂

Did you use regular 87 or did you add fuel mix

I have a very similar Toro. I like the 3 speed on the console, kinda like vintage old school. You may consider taking the cover plate off the transmission and repacking the grease. Takes about 10 minutes and will prolong the life of the transmission.

I work part time for a developer and he had one just like this in storage that he bought and never used. Mine just gave up the ghost and I asked him about trading a bit of work for the mower. He said, I've never used it, take it. It's never had fluids in it and has been in dry storage since 2014. Since it's never had any fluids, do you think it's fine to just treat it as new, or is there anything you'd suggest doing as far as checking it out before I put fluids in? Thanks!

Cleaned the carb on my yesterday , gas is clean and no debris in tank. Mower will start but after 10-15 minutes, it’ll try to stall and die. It will restart again… anything else I need to clean??
