Can a co-host on Zoom add Live Streams? The reason I ask is because I want to live stream to my KZbin, but someone else wants to stream to their Facebook, and someone else to their TikTok. Meaning 3 different owners of the social accounts who will all be presenting on Zoom.
@TomQsTechTips2 ай бұрын
I have not tested that, though if it doesn't work, I think you could make them host and them claim it back later. This actually worked well for my conference in March to TWO designations. I have not tested three, although the "Live Streaming" App page says "If you’re using Zoom to create and stream live content, this app is for you! With the Live Streaming App by Zoom, you can stream to Twitch, KZbin, Facebook, and custom RTMP destinations, individually or with up to **3** streams at once." So I think this will work for you. What we did is stream to MY KZbin Channel and another group's Facebook Page. So before every event, we got together with the tech guys of their Facebook page and I got the correct settings from THEM and entered them into the places I showed here in my Zoom application. You may have to do it this way.

This was really helpful as confirmation that the rotary dials and dial stacks are supported with Companion Button rotary actions. So you know, you could've copied the action for the "left turn" and pasted it under "right turn" & just changed the number so you didn't have to redo it all from scratch. It's not particularly obvious that it's possible, but it is. I don't remember if you have to paste it under "left turn" then move it down or if you can paste it under "right" directly.

Your videoe was valuable, because I got the answer I was looking for: Fits the Lavalier II into the Rode Lav Headset? Because I intend to buy both of it. It was also nice to hear an sound sample. I too have sometimes problems with some kind of bounthing of "s" und "t" at the end of words. It's not only my microphone (not a lavalier). But it becomes worse with less distance or if I use a compressor. May be I have to pay more attention on a controlled pronunciation. So thanks for the valuable information. But your video would be a lot more appealing if you do some editing and concentrate it on the important information. It'a a little bit boring to follow all your struggle with the right settings. A short summary would be more than enough. May be, if you want to share your struggle with us, you can show some of the must "funny" moments in the end after the end. 🙂 Sorry for my not so good school English.

Hi I got scammed and got a fake one, do you know if this can damage either iPhone or AirPods battery long term?
@TomQsTechTips9 ай бұрын
I don’t think that there is anything inherently dangerous about a 3rd party charger. Billions of non-Apple Lightning charging cables have been sold over the years and I would venture to say that most of them have been harmless and have actually done the job for a fair price. What is going on here is that manufacturers/sellers are cheating Apple AND consumers by pretending to be something better than what they are, thus inflating the price. If mine had had decent magnetic grip and charged at 30w I might have kept it. Having said all of that, some poorly made electrical products are risky. So keep an eye on it. Make sure that it doesn’t get dangerously hot.

Hi Tom, there are various other streaming platforms. Does something like Streamyard serve a purpose, or can you simply use Zoom?

Good question. Zoom “LIVE Streaming” App only works to send a Zoom meeting or a Zoom webinar to two different platforms. If I wanted to LIVE Stream some other event (let’s say the output of a video switcher) then I would need something like Streamyard.

Some additional comments: - You can set a wallpaper as the default wallpaper when you choose a wallpaper. - When you pre-assign people and then switch to gallery view, the pre-assigned people should remain in the scenes when you return to Production Studio. It's the dynamically assigned people, as you saw, that are not retained when return from speaker or gallery view. If your sessions/webinars have a fixed set of participants that you know ahead of time, it's better to set up the scenes in advanced with the participants in the right place. - Glad you liked the fallback feature. This is something the team is proud of! - Good tip about two shared content scenes with the person looking at the right place.

Boa tarde. Não falo inglês, então é difícil entender as possibilidades apenas vendo. Eu conseguiria usar a tela como um botão normal assim como os 8? Posso executar um áudio ao precionar um dial?

I can’t say, I understand the first question, but as to the second question, you might want to look for my video on PlayoutBee. It can turn a Mac or a raspberry pi or perhaps even a PC into what the ATEM will think is a hyperdeck. You can then set up a macro to trigger the “hyperdeck.”
@thiagomendes438511 ай бұрын
@@TomQsTechTips A primeira pergunta é sobre a tela. Posso ter as mesmas funções dos botões na tela? Ou seja, posso usa-lo como mais 4 botões já que é uma tela sensível ao toque?

The answer is yes and no. The dials and the screen are tied together. So you get twelve items to configure total, with the bottom four (dials and screen) offering many more possibilities than the upper eight buttons.

Thank you for this very thorough explanation and demonstration. It appears from your demo that KZbin is much easier to navigate when Zoom streaming and with better results. Facebook has quite a long delay and your sound didn’t sync with the video. Think I’ll stick with live-streaming to KZbin for now but like the ability to stream to 2 platforms at once. Also appreciate seeing how you create a custom stream so I can bypass opening my channel up to Zoom. Great job! 😊

Thanks for the comment. I think KZbin streams better quality, but I'm doing an online conference in a couple of weeks with a group that has 20,000 followers on Facebook so... it is what it is. I used the KZbin login (and gave Zoom control over my channel 😱) and I will admit it was cool to have the comments from KZbin come into Zoom, but after about an hour it started generating errors. So I think I'm gonna stick to Custom Stream.

Just a tip: Swipe up on the main screen to get to the menus instead of going into the Bluetooth settings first. You can switch the wheel to control zoom in the settings, but having a button to switch their function would be a nightmare if you were using it mounted on a camera rig. You couldn’t tell which mode you were in without first looking at the screen. The M and S firmwares are for the main system and I think the wireless or something?
