I’ve been making this cake since 1970. My aunt saw it in the Baltimore Sun Newspaper. It’s become a family favorite. The original recipe called for 1 cup AllBran, the kind that looks like twigs, not the flakes. I also add 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1 cup raisins, 1 cup peanut butter chips. I spray the pans with Pam (generic) as I’ve had too many disasters in the past. While I mainly use a Bundt pan, I have used various sized loaf pans, cupcake pans and mini cupcakes. The loaf takes about 45 minutes, but check frequently. This weekend I will be making 8 batches of this. Six will go in 9x5 loaf pans and the other 2 will be in Bundt pans. They are part of my family gift baskets which will include 2 types of homemade candy and brownie cookies. Everyone likes this and it makes Christmas shopping very easy😀.

I'm sorry to say this, but GE and F&P are both owned by Haier, so lots of parts could be the same. Hope this GE lasts. Personally, I hate belt drives because are too loud. They had a GE adora model back in 2013, and they lasted only 3 years before they discontinued the model. I'm angry because it was a quiet machine unlike these noise py belt driven machines

You are so amazing at explaining things !! I'm sad this is from 6 years ago and I'm not sure you are still making videos ! You could honestly make me understand any pattern

This was so helpful. I feel like anytime I watch a crotchet tutorial video for beginners, they say it's beginner friendly but if it's a more complex design they don't explain anything. This was amazing because I was actually able to follow along and not be confused about what you just did. Thank you so much! These look so cute!

This was my first proper crochet project, I've seen people complain about your so called 'rambling' but i think the in depth explanations for each step is amazing!! I personally would feel confident enough now to make a second stocking without any help from the video! Thank you so much :) I'm sure my younger brother will love this as a gift! I love how forgiving this pattern is, I will recommend this video to my friend who also crochets :D Again, thank you <3

@@Spectre_SnakeYT thanks! The "you talk too much" comments make me laugh. This is KZbin. You can skip ahead, use timestamps, use 2x speed, find a shorter video, click the link for the written pattern, or leave at any time. I'm not holding anyone hostage.

Don't use a regular knife to cut any lettuce. That makes it turn brown. Either use a plastic knife or just tear it to wash & store. 😎

For my sister and I we get excited about how cheap we get each others’s gifts or the sales we find. Unfortunate in a tiny town all we have is Walmart. We did have a Mennonite store that sold bulk food and outdated clearance unfortunately they recently sold it to a local business man that hiked all the prices.

Love this tutorial! Trying to work out the measurements for the larger one! Can anyone help please?! Just trying to work out how long the foot should be and things like that!
@KatieCooksandCrafts26 күн бұрын
@@emilymoor213 you can really make them any length. Shirt and chubby, long and lean. Depends on what you want it to look like. You can decide as you go along. If you want to make a set I would not down the measurements of the first one so they all match. Very forgiving pattern.

@ 2:41, you should emphasize that you are NOT 'microwaving' the dough. You said it so fast that I even had to rewind to see what you were saying. I'm sure many beginners nuked their dough. Nice result, but you need to slow roll your instructions.
