The no peek unwritten rule is just crazy. Wonder if the catcher felt the breeze off Jose’s next pitch to him

I don’t know if this is a hot take, but Joe Buck was spectacular in this game. Not just the call at the end. He brought a quiet excitement to every call, if that makes sense.

I swear most of these are against the Red Sox or Braves.

Mannnn it's one thing to get ahead and score a run and come back and win a game but when you're in game 6 of the world series facing elimination after facing elimination games during the regular season, and you do it twice in this fashion?? God Is watching and your baseball team is God's team and he is pulling the strings. I remember 2011 like it was yesterday and I remember like the last month of the season was just do or die every single game we had to win we had to somehow pull it out. Especially during the last week we had to win. Everything had to go our way. We got in the playoffs by the skin of our teeth.

The coolest part about the Bartolo HR to me is that they were the away team and the crowd still cheered for him.

Fun Fact: Daniel Norris was the first, and likely the last, AL pitcher to hit a home run at Wrigley field.

Where is Danny Graves? His first TWO hits were HRs. In fact they were both his only hits of the year in back to back years!!! The only guy to ever have accomplished that feat.

They definitely should have Blanton's Home run here. Add to that Don Gullett and Dave McNally. McNally in the World Series and Gullett in the playoffs.
