Thanks for the vid ! When you use the gimbal with the R5, did you désactivate the IS / IBIS on the R5 ?

I have never accidently dropped my camera equipment, ever. If you're taking photos as a journalist in a war or conflict zone, if you're on safari in Africa, If you're on an extreme hike, if you're on an extreme mountainous terrain. If you're a NatGeo staff/contract photographer I would suggest that some type of insurance for damage, loss, theft or plunging off of Angels Landing going down 1488 ft to the base then you're likely a candidate. With the Canon Professional Services Gold Membership you are already afford standard cleaning, testing and loaner equipment plus a quick turnaround time for the return of your equipment after service.

For a product demonstration video of a product that is already dark in color, that dark moody light is just terrible! Nobody can see the grip when you put it up to the camera.

Just had a friend lend one of these to me after my original ronin s broke. I have an R5 and was a bit concerned about the size of it but after seeing this I am very confident it will all work out great. I use a 24-70, but no battery grip. My total rig is a little over 4 pounds. It is front heavy, but definitely will be within the max payload of this guy. I've never used a gimbal with locks before, though, so seeing the process for how to use the locks to your advantage when balancing is great! Appreciate the guide!

Jordan, thanks for getting me off on the right footing! Will now be tackling the production of a wildlife photography KZbin video. Your workflow should be very helpful, as I am both new to my R5 and Davinci Resolve. Best regards and I look forward to your other videos! ps...your voice came across very clear for me.

Hi=cool video. I have a question. When I play your video 2.4.1 I get the whole youtube width. On others shot at same 2.4.1 on you tube the screen size is smaller? Is there a setting I need to change in youtube? Thanks!

I was hoping this video would be about upscaling the fps WITHOUT changing the speed of the video. Clearly the software has the power to do this, but I can't figure out how to actually use optical flow without also using a speed change. The only way I can do it at the moment is: take a 30fps video and drop it on a 60fps timeline stretch/slow the 30fps video to 50% apply optical flow render take that newly rendered 60fps video video and put it back in the timeline stretch/speed up that new video to 200% to undo the speed change This sucks because the video has to go through an extra layer of encoding which reduces the quality of the final output what I would like to do is: take a 30fps video and drop it on a 60fps timeline apply optical flow to "convert" the 30 fps video to 60fps (at the original speed) render any idea on how to do this?

Jordan, thank you for your video. I have a question. How do you get those crispy clear screencast images in HD ? I am strugling with resolve right now. I have to deliver to a client HD clip. So I am shooting myself in HD and I edit in an HD timeline in resolve, but i have to incorporate some screencast ( as you do here ) , for that I am using " screenflow " the software. I get crystal clear screencast with it. But , after the recording , if I tried to export the screen recording in HD it looks terrible, you barely can read the software user interface , so I logically export those recordings in 4K, and it looks fantastic, BUT when in resolve, mixing those with the facecam HD footage looks ok when editing . But when exporting , all the 4K screencast looks terrible , nothing to compare with the quality you do get here on you HD video. Would you please tell me a little bit about your process ? Thank you !
