The toe next to my big toe was actually longer when I was a kid... because my grandparents went off the big toe instead, both of those toes are now crooked.

Damn that is fucked up customer non-service, sorry for you. Shameful. I have this light and love it, mostly. Downsides: the runtimes on bright settings are wayy overstated, and the headband sucks ass: just horrible and flimsy. It really has a very short runtime when using bright settings. Positives: the red light is great, and has a huge runtime. The warm reading light is perfect color and brightness; genius. Good runtime too. It's tough, easy to use, and has lots of options. A big advantage if you care, is it doesn't emit a bunch of high frequency radiation into your brain with pwm, like others. I'm sensitive to that crap, but most cell phone zombies probably don't give a damn. Dunno if I have any parasitic draining, whatever that actually is. I didn't even know about lockout mode, haha.

I don’t wear sneakers, mostly boots (sandals in the summer) and they’re often a little bigger than my feet to be more comfortable. I don’t get why people suffocate their feet with sneakers with those narrow ass tips

Nope still didn’t reconsider it. These foot issues you show have nothing to do with shoes but that specific person personally ruining their feet during childhood. I’ve been wearing shoes all my life and have better feet than the clowns bragging about their “never wearing shoes unless barefoot shoes” feet.

I'm Brazilian and I have to point out that soccer players used to train barefoot on grass and in sandboxes because some people argue that it's good for strengthening the feet and ankles. I also want to point out that we only wear closed shoes to work or when we go out, sandals are 100% more comfortable.

Abebe Bikila didn't routinely run barefoot. He ran in bare feet the Marsthon at the Rome Olympics because his shoes were lost by the airline. Four years later he flew to Tokyo with his shoes as cabin luggage to make sure not to lose them.

As a minimal shoe wearer that makes her own wide toebox shoes, pointy shoes are easier to make. A cone doesn't require any stretch in the leather. Many primitive shoes have pointy upturned toes for a very simple assembly and water resistant toe (because most of the stitches are on top.) A sphere requires curves in two dimensions at the same time, which requires the leather to stretch. The leather must be pulled over a hard form and complicated stitch methods are used to get that seam near the ground weather tight. (Modern glues can replace stitches but are not as durable.)

Had an issue with the warranty service as well. Bounced from brick and mortar store to a location in the middle of the USA. Went back and forth several times before the customer service agreed to send me a new lens for my HC68. I guess its a known issue that it gets far too warm and will degrade ( not to mention burn) the lens material.

Hy Sir,so what should a soccer player do to recover from shin splints.should he do strength exercises?
@JamesFromCanada
@JamesFromCanada Ай бұрын
Hey! #1 - Rest and recovery (the hardest thing) - You NEED to stop doing more damage for it to heal #2 - Strengthen your calves, feet, and stabiliser muscles in lower leg #3 - Change your running technique so you do NOT land on your heels I had shin splints for 5-6 years from soccer, only after my barefoot training and shoes did they go away (6+ months) I made some very good exercises and videos on this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaeZYYJmi82ojdk Good luck my friend!

@JamesFromCanada
@JamesFromCanada Ай бұрын
@@AbdoukarimSanneh-lx7om fundamentally you need to strengthen your lower calves and feet and adjust your running technique to reduce shock Running and landing on front of foot is CRITICALLY important - landing on your heels transmits too much shock to the calves and causes shin splints. As soon as you start feeling shin splints pain, you need to slow down/stop your training for the day and recover

I'm not sure why regular people would destroy their feet like that, just buy D and E width shoes... it doesn't help with heel striking but my god, if you let your feet get anywhere near what these are, you are insane.

i dont believe shoes can increase your performance in general. the only exception to this is those new shoes with carbon fiber spring boards on them essentially. outside of that youre always going to perform your best barefoot. obviously this is when your feet are strong and conditioned.
