Very concise and helpful, don't be afraid to add verbal instruction as you go! One thing that might be helpful to add: The Pegaso has an oil strainer on the left side of the frame. When that gets clogged, it blocks oil flow and your red oil light will come on the dash. It's worth the extra time to remove and clean the oil strainer every couple of oil changes. :o) Thank you for taking time to put this together and help out a lot of people!

My motorcycle was also a model without OBC and I was able to display water temperature, fuel and gear position using the method you described. I appreciate you. I think “Temp.display” is the display of the ambient temperature. Currently, my motorcycle is not equipped with an ambient temperature sensor, but I found a cable and mounting hole near the left blinker, so I will try again when I get an ambient sensor.

Thanks for this very nice and informative video! Together with the workshop manual this job becomes more doable. I recently did the job also by myself before I saw your video. At the end I am left with an oil leak from the head cover gasket ( I reinstalled the old gasket together with some silicone bond) and must have made a small mistake although the engine runs very smooth again. So I have to redo a part of the job. The bike is well worth it; it gave me already 75000 km of great pleasure ! So thanks again and have fun 👌🏍️✨👍😀

Great video. Does it work also for f800st 2007? Also you purchased it from Play store through full subscription for 49.99?

I believe so. I don't remember the price in Play store, but it might've been something around that amount. You need the ultimate version for coding.

Is there a secret to easily pulling the plug wires off? Ive got an older vehicle and Im worried about damaging the plug wires while pulling them out. I tried and was a bit apprehensive. Also after seeing this I realize I will need an extension.
@femalegarage
@femalegarage 3 ай бұрын
No secret from what I know, you might have to wiggle them a little if they are stuck. Worst case scenario, you have to replace the wires but that might be necessary anyway if you've got an older vehicle.

Super Video. Meine schwitzt manchmal aus dem Loch wenn sie recht warm wird. Dann läuft ganz ganz wenig was raus.

I've use a hair dryer for years to heat up bearings ect, works well and doesn't destroy painted surfaces. Also good improvisation of tools, 👌 and nice to see a torque wrench being used on the more critical bolts. I recently bought an F800s that needs the head bearings doing, so your video will be helpful 👍

Many thanks for the video @femalegarage. Could you write down the options that you activated in the app? I just want temperature, gear and fuel, so no need for info button to work. Many thanks again
@femalegarage
@femalegarage 3 ай бұрын
Sorry I didn't write it down, I did it rather intuitively, the gear option is called "gear indicator", for the temperature and fuel you have to see, just try and activate different options.

Wow. Nice. I just acquired a 2000 corolla with manual transmission. Saw this extra brake fluid reservoir. Knew it was for the clutch but didn't know how to change it. Was guessing it would be connected to the brake reservoir and if I bled the brakes the clutch fluid would get changed too. Was I wrong. Thanks for the vid.

I have a question for you. Without the info button on the left hand switch pack on the bar, how is it possible to cycle through the multi function display information? Such as fuel consumption and average speed
@vanoscrap-nb1go
@vanoscrap-nb1go 23 сағат бұрын
it is described in the bike's user manual: you can use the buttons on the dashboard. Just need to switch functions between the non-existent "info" button and the bottom dash button by long pressing both dash buttons then selecting "on" or "off" (can't remember which) in the flashing menu that appears. mess with it, you can't break anything.

Using the factory tool is ridiculous: 1. Acquire special tool 2. Compress valve 3. Position valve holding tool 4. Remove shim 5. Measure shim 6. Reinstall original shim 7. Compress valve to release holding tool 8. Repeat steps 2 thru 7 on the seven remaining exhaust valves 9. Acquire new shims from Toyota 10. Compress valve 11. Position holding tool 12. Remove original shim 13. Install new shim 14. Compress valve to release holding tool 15. Repeat steps 10 thru 14 on the seven remaining exhaust valves Removing the camshaft is the way to go. I just performed this job on a 2000 RAV4, and came to same conclusion. I'm not convinced that the service manual procedure will allow you to slip the shims past the holding tool. There doesn't appear to be sufficient clearance.

@femalegarage
@femalegarage Жыл бұрын
It's been very adventurous lately, but I can't film everything. I fill 95, I don't think that 98 would do any better. Did you have issues with your steering damper? Mine is leaking.
@germaness
@germaness Жыл бұрын
@@femalegarage ohh Hi! I didn't realize you had replied. well, upon your video I started filling 98 but due to fuel price fluctuation and riding style, i still can't see much differences. I do keep record on every refuel, using an app called "fuelio" but again.. can't see significant difference. Apparently my avg consumption is 4.35l/100km. I did service the whole front suspension last winter, because I needed to change the steering head bearings, on shock had started to leak just a little and the steering damper as well, not too much but I thought it was better to do it already. I found that the internal seal/filter or whatever that foam ring is inside the steering damper had been disolved halfway. So I replaced that foam ring with two O-rings which were thick enough to make a bit tight travel and that worked very well. I used 10W on the steering damper just like on the shocks. It's working all just fine :) Hope to hear from you soon!
