I just used your video to groom my schnauzer, and it came out great! I took my time (multiple rewinds), lots of treats, and praise. She wouldn't let me do her face, but she did so well with her body and feet I didn't care. Thank you SO much. 💓

These look pretty easy compared to a dog with dark nails. The dark nails are a beast to figure out for newbies like me.

I do a Yorkie Poo puppy and his coat is so silky with no undercoat that the clippers with a comb doesn't ever catch anything! Am I doing it wrong?

Excellent grooming instructions. Thank you for making this video. I am a cosmetologist and figured I could groom my yorkies but the first two tries I cut them way too short and I wasn't sure how to cut their paw pads, face, ears and stomach. This gives excellent and thorough instructions I am sure anyone can follow.

Just done our Bobby, shelter shih tzu, so matted because he loves to explore the riverbank and wild meadows. I found i had to use my own clippers (human) as the plastic bladed dog clippers i bought couldn't cut it, pun intended. The human clippers ran faster too. He enjoyed it more than a groomer as it was dad doing it and he was at home.

My Westie is not well behaved and the grooming wanted him drugged. He get so scared when he knows they are coming to groom him that he shakes all over. He then gives them a very hard time and would probably bite if he wasn’t muzzled. I can’t have him go through this anymore so I really do have to learn how to do this for him.

I gotta question please, how come you dont trim against the hair, that would save time as no need to back brush ?? Appreciate your help on that as we have 3 westies and monies getting tight so £150 a visit aint cheap so was gonna try myself as got an electric trimmer but never used it. Thanks

Thank you for this video! This was exactly what I needed! I'm getting a Yorkie in a few weeks. I took Cosmetology some 30 years ago but haven't used it in years. I figured I could learn to groom my own pup. This will really help. ❤️

The sound of the clippers can cause anxiety as well. The clippers used in this video are really loud compared to the ones my groomer uses. You did an AWESOME job though. Thanks for the video.

I adopted a supposedly one year old Maltese ish dog from shelter. Appears younger, very puppy ish, over excited, will not allow me near her with scissors. Shelter shaved her down due to mats. How to keep my female , just spayed Malteseish puppy calm like Nikki during a groom? Exercise thoroughly then Benadryl if Vet says OK? Excellent groomer!

Please my dear, whuch Dremel model is you are using ? Does the acessory for trimming the nails come with it ? My dog is a mix of Labrador and Rotweiller with black nail so i must be quick trimming and take more attention.
