Those locomotives are not retired. Work must be slow on the Railroad again 😢. That's just a big storage area. When it's time to get them started, it's going to be a lot of work. All those dead batteries. Lol

@@MontanaDirtRoads The new tires are great! It's kind of like riding on my 450 now but heavier. Lots of traction, even in the wet stuff. The road we took to camp had just been graded and had no gravel in it. The mud would stick to the tires leaving a dry trail of dirt behind the bike. That low pro front fender ended up getting torn off. We secured the brake lines out of the way and then it was a lot easier to get down the road. I'm looking into a high fender kit now.

@72TIGGER72 ya that's the nice thing about the klr is that high front fender and room for that mud to fall out (mostly) in the rear.ive not had to ride in that bad of mud yet for any length of distance worth mentioning lol, my new tires performed amazing on the dirt/gravel/mud I encountered. 970 miles ridden

4:31 I used to hunt mountain lions in BC Canada, BC is very much like north west Montana. It is very surprising how much ground they can cover. Seeing them just walking around is pretty rare. Find a deer kill and watch that at dawn and dusk then you might see one. I have only seen 3 of them that were not treed. 11:42 @myroncook can you explain this formation? Was it a pyroclastic flow that hit a glacier, it has layers so some kind of sediment built this wall? 17:27 OMG! I took a "short cut" one time that was full of mud, rocks and stumps in a WJ and I get to a clearing to see some a$$ hole parked right on the trail and there was lots of room in the clearing to park. I was almost tempted to pull him backwards out of the way but then decided to try and go around him, good thing the WJ had limited slip front and rear and I was able to navigate off the trail to continue to my destination. 23:31 "I don't hunt things that try and eat me" You don't even know how right you are. They will take your head off if you give them a chance.

I hit a patch of ice once and ended up tobogganing backwards down the hill and ended up over the bank. I almost had my front end swung around as I put my rear bumper into the bank but did a 180 and ended up going off the road backwards.

@@MontanaDirtRoadsYes as would I. Early season offroading can create some pretty scary situations. One min you are in crispy crunchy snow then pure ice on the section of road the sun shines on. Going down no brakes hardly any steering and even being in low range 1st gear for compression braking is sketch. Your brain is screaming brakes, brakes but to maintain control you need to feather the gas when you really don't want to. Meanwhile your passenger is yelling to be let out of the rig. Fun times LOL BTW I subbed 👍

Because alot of areas have been overwhelmed, shut down or vandalized from Irresponsible land users that have found these places by youtube or Facebook groups.i don't want to be the reason a 120 year old miners cabin was burned down cause I revealed its location..it's becoming a problem now due to social media,I know it costs me subscriptions but it's something I won't do. How hard is it to pick up your beer cans and shot gun shells/brass? When I camp I leave the place better than when I found it. I even pack out dirty diapers and my kids are adults. I also bury human turds after someone surface sh!ts. I want to preserve these places.
