Grew up in Murray Idaho and many buildings from 1880's and 90's were built using forged square nails. Must have thrown away 100 or so metal detecting with my kids, then found out I could have got 2 bucks apiece for them!

Square nails where predominantly used up till the 1860s then round nails started taking over due to new manufacturing technology. I believe I've been through Murray Idaho I'll have to look back..I was born in bosie . Thanks for watching and telling me your story,love hearing these stories of people growing up in these places.
