Hai fatto diversi errori. 1) Quando posizioni il sollevatore idraulico devi fare attenzione di non ingaggiare anche il fascione in plastica, rischi di rompere gli attacchi… devi modificare quell’aggeggio in legno.. quando inizi a sollevare, il fascione non deve flettere. 2) Mai svitare i dadi ruota con tutto il peso ancora addosso. Devi svitare (allentare) e riserrare con meno coppia, uno alla volta. Poi col sollevatore porti via un po’ di carico e allenti un po’ di più, infine sollevi la ruota da terra e togli i tre bulloni. 3) Ci sono altri tutorial in rete che ti fanno vedere come inserire i pattini freno dal basso, molto più semplice… 4) Prima di fare il video, potevi dare una pulita al cerchione.. 5) Comunque complimenti per aver fatto il lavoro, se ti arrivano critiche non è per biasimarti, ma per fare meglio la prossima volta. 6) Ho due Smart 451, una e’ Brabus.. faccio anch’io manutenzione da solo, qualche errore all’inizio l’ho fatto anch’io, ma poi ho corretto il tiro. I recommend getting a tork wrench. it's necessary for this type of work. Guessing isn't good.

Hi, I have several torque wrenches, and I use them regularly, as you can see in the video. If you watch from minute 08:00 it's clear, unless you know how to recognize a torque wrench.

Vedo che hai sollevato la macchina con il crick ma si vede che non è sicura per niente.Quando si solleva una macchina, dopo averla sollevata con el crick, si mette per sicurezza un cavalletto regolabile in altezza.Se non si possiede il cavalletto, allora si mette la ruota sotto la macchina, perche, se per caso, la macchina dovesse cadere, c'è la gomma sotto.È molto pericoloso ciò che hai fatto!!! In più si vede che addirittura un po si muove.Ci sono anche 4 punti dove mettere il crick, piu o meno in sicurezza, ma vedo che l'hai sollevata dal punto sbagliato.Attenzione.E poi per ultimo, per travasare l'olio, se non vuoi che si sparga ovunque, devi mettere la tanica di fianco, cosi non entra tanta aria e non fai cio che hai fatto, oppure versare l'olio in una bottiglia da un litro, cosi è più facile da manovrare.

I was thinking the exact same thing!! 😂. It looks like a painful process. My wife has a smart car and I do routine maintenance on it. You need hands of a 3 year old to access most of the bolts. Her car has 44,000 miles on it. When do you think the clutch replacement will come?

Is much easier to do this with power tools and if your tackling this job, make sure to have a transmission jack, I tried to do it by my self with just 2 jacks but is very brutal, there is just not a lot of space to maneuver the little tranny once is up in the air and you can't get the Angles right, I just got a tranny jack today and I am about to stick the damn thing in tomorrow. Wish me luck

It's really hard to extract, because there are elastic steel rings that keep it locked in place. Use a pry bar or rubber mallet, but you need to protect the delicate aluminum parts. Avoid direct contact.

@@fuyouto suspension I’ll agree-could be way better. On the highway-hit a heavy bump it sounds like the car has no suspension at all. Clutch actuator is not too bad if you have a mechanical ear and can listen to what the car is doing. Take your foot off the gas, let the RPMs calm down and it will shift right away-nice and smooth. Give the gas one quick pump while you’re moving and it will downshift. Little trucks to the trade.

So when i start it or reverse it it gives me a small kick and shaking so they told me that i need clutch and plate but what else do i have to change necessarily? ( also i think it must be a difficult job for me to do)

The smart clutch lasts less than 100,000 km. The flywheel, if it hasn't been mistreated, much more. Even damaged engine mounts can create shocks like a kick. However, you have to dismantle it to understand.

Hi, I spent 650 euros on the clutch and I saw the new actuator underneath? In your opinion, was the clutch done? The agreements were clutch only and I find myself a new actuator on the invoice it says clutch.?

I was sweating how to replace that leaver seal on mine. At least this video showed how to remove it. It would have been nicer if he showed what size allen key that is. The other bigger mystery is my leaver has a big nut like about a 15/16 nut. All the videos I have watched I have not seen that shaft with a bolt head on it.
