This collection of videos of underrated video game music is my favorite collection, aside from your Final Fantasy top 100. I was surprised again and again by captivating songs that I had never heard before. You guys are amazing!

My dear friends and fellow fans, this video is the single greatest homage to Final Fantasy music on the internet. I have watched and listened to every minute of it, and it is glorious. Those of you saying it's a bad list because such and such a song was ranked below such and such a song are missing the big picture. They could have just posted a list of 100 songs without doing all SIX YEARS of the work they did, and then you could have your quibbles that the list doesn't agree with yours and that your opinion somehow carries more weight than theirs. But did you not hear the incredible dual and triple mixes of so many great pieces? Did you not see the list of ALL the games they listened to in compiling this list? Did you read their thoughtful, entertaining, and well-written comments about EVERY SINGLE SONG on this list? Can you not feel the incredible love and passion they have for this music? You're absolutely welcome to disagree with how the songs are ranked. But disagree or not, this is a phenomenal collection of music! Rawkhawk and GreatGonzales, I love you forever.

FF XII is my favorite version. You feel the danger and the potential of a final boss in it (even though it's just an optionnal boss).

There are a lot of songs in the Peoples Choice ranking at the end of the video that dont feature in this list. I'd be interested to see how many songs in this list dont appear at all (or appear infrequently) in those 41 rankings that were used.

I must respectfully decline your top 10 choices. The ending picks skewed heavily towards FF7 and 7 Remake. It was a great collection if you ignore rankings. Some games are criminally missing. FF3 DS Remake Opening, Zodiac Battle FFXII or even Theme of Arcadia. I could nitpick all day I guess.

I love the lists and the critiques about the songs but I strongly disagree with most of lists made on this channel. To each there own though. Cheers 🥂

I'm 3 years late but what a delightful list! My personal number one is Rebirth's version of LEt the battles begin, the materia guardian version. When those stings hit, it hits hard!

Mm2, mm3, mm4 boss fight themes should have been on the list

Finally a list that doesn’t slander Megalovania for being popular or put it at number one purely for fan service (it’s my favorite song in the game, but if you put it at number one, it better be genuine and not because it’s popular)

Still listen to this every once in awhile and still enjoy it...but, for all of the complaints of people's personal opinions on what songs should be on this list, there is one song which has factually been left off: Endless Battlefield from Final Fantasy Adventure (US). The only overworld/battle theme combo and one that works wonderfully as the duality. The factual part of this statement is that the game isn't on the list at the beginning so it was never a possible contender.

The whole FF Tactics soundtrack should be included in this list no doubt about it

No Matoya’s Cave (FF1/FF14) or Night Attack (FFT)? Those are 2 of the best, if not the best tracks from their respective games!

FF13s Soundtrack is so underrated. Fabula Nova Crystallis is a masterpiece. I also miss Elia, the maiden of water from FF3.

Also watching this again having played so many more of the titles in teh last three years, and with the pixel remaster, I will say the greatest surprise of the pixel remaster was the absolute BANGER for FFIV's Mysidia. too bad time kompression isn't real.

i see a lot of people complaining but honestly even just seeing the opening with that theme in the background and seeing all of the game titles being cycled through made me tear up- I experienced my first final fantasy content watching my mom play ff7 when i was around 4 years old and have grown up playing and watching these games my whole life. i'm only 19 but this franchise means so much to me and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your time and dedication to create this mix <3 i don't care that some of my faves are missing, i dont care if certain games got more precedent than others, i am just truly grateful that you took the time, energy, and dedication to give this series all the love it deserves. so sad im only finding this playlist just now, but it's truly amazing. thank you <3
