What a great reminder of my youth in Los Angeles. I can barely recall those box trucks but I do remember the driver giving my the folded cardboard model of one. In my teens I worked in a gas station where Wally, our delivery man would share his leftover doughnuts. Sweet memories.

I lived in Los Angeles and POP was a bus ride away. I would hitch a ride with friends just to get to the park. I was going to LACC then and had a part time job. Earned just enough to have fun, POP was affordable and I would spend weekends there making new friends. Sometimes they would have bands play rock music and everybody would dance. Times were simple then, the theme song one summer is appropriate. Paradise Lost

What an absolute treasure! Never have I seen such a unique standup comic. You have no idea where the next subject is going to go and she takes you on a rollercoaster of insanity that is bewildering and sensationally hilarious. You can't even predict the next word! And no profanity!

POP - Pacific Ocean Price / Pay One Price! What a place! Used to get an all-day pass for $1.91. Many great memories from the early 60s. A crazy fun place jutting into the Pacific. Memories include frozen chocolate covered bananas, lemon ices, the amazing diving bells, Davey Jone's Locker, the crazy mirrors, the crooked room, the great wooden roller coaster, The Rotor (my favorite ride, demonstrating physics and defying gravity) and the skyride over the water. Today's kids missed a really great experience. Excellent video too, so Thank You!

Listen to Sam Watson autobiography he fought for the south and wrote all about his experiences in the war fully , some times he’s absolutely pissed at the south government , but a part keep him going it’s a amazing story that’s 8hours long through the whole war the whole southerner to do so 👍🏻

@@hurricanefury439 well not these new Democrats. They still want cheap labour to do the work. Instead of exploiting black people as slaves now they just exploit illegals. Maybe if people were actually worried about getting on today's Democrats instead of getting on yesterday's democrat for profile picture America would be a better place. Lol when are you guys going to whip today's Democrats into shape? Just curious lol

My dad took me to Saugus Speedway when i was a kid and it seemed such a long way from Reseda where we lived as things do when you are young. It's beyond belief that i am the last man still standing here in 2025. I have Mix feelings about finding this video but fascinating nevertheless. I remember when the Manson family killed those people just over the Hollywood Hills and everyone in the Valley was scared (you know what) a hella lot more scared than these fires we have now. And who didn't like listening to Bread on the AM transistor radio when you were around 10 years old ?

Playland at the Beach was another seaside park in San Francisco which went downhill in the early 1970's and it was torn down and sat as a huge empty pit until 1987

I had to visit. My eyes are full with tears of laughter. My past away sister loved Him. Somewhere in a skit, He's talking how easy it is for Guys' to ask for sex. Referring to prostitutes, escorts, etc. Mr. Lewis says; How do you even do that...I have trouble asking the waitress for some extra bread 😂
