As of right now my favorite Godzilla design is Godzilla Earth, though it kinda depends because it’s honestly kinda hard to have a favorite. Although the ones close to the top are fairly consistent. Now as a kid my favorite Godzilla suite was Burning Godzilla, seeing Godzilla have a bright orange redish yellow mass on his chest was really cool

Hey Dman! What do you think of the 1998 Godzilla being resurrected as “Cybergodzilla” as a way to pay tribute to Mechagodzilla and using blue atomic breath and attacking Tokyo like the Japanese Godzilla? Also how was it like seeing him fight his son in Part 3 of Monster Wars?

Did you order anything from Arbiter? I got both of the 75% keyboards and man are they awesome. I also picked up the new color way from super7 of king ghidora and hedorah.

G64 is another one of the greats for BMMS, my personal favourite is G75. Awesome review Dman! And yeah really well made points about the appearance and the description of the Mosugoji suit is perfect.

I'm still surprised and lowkey disappointed by how (relatively) lightweight Godzilla Earth is... Like how can he be like more than twice as big as Monsterverse Ghidorah but still be nearly 50K tons lighter than him, or be almost tripple the size of Destoroyah, Biollante, Super MechaGodzilla and Space Godzilla, but still weigh like 20K tons less than them? And then there's Monsterverse Godzilla and Shin Godzilla who are about a third the size of Godzilla Earth, but weigh nearly the same as him, with Shin Godzilla only weighing like 8K tons less than Godzilla Earth iirc... It's kinda absurd imo tbh...

THANK YOU for saying something about the “Yamazaki art film” discourse because it’s unbelievable how some certain people flip their switch on him just because of his statement (really tells you they were never really with him to begin with). Making films that people enjoy is not a bad thing at all and just because a film isn’t this philosophical art piece that is only made for a small audience doesn’t discard any of Godzilla Minus One’s impact. A movie can have impact and also be made for people of all backgrounds to enjoy, I mean that’s how something like Minus One or GxK garnered a lot of praise for being films that were made for many to enjoy rather than just a select few. I could go on about this, but it’s just wild to me anyone had a problem with the statement in the first place.

Man can anyone imagine what it would be like if they did movies of Godzilla Minus One like they did the Showa and later Heisei and Millennium Era films seeing the fights between this Godzilla and the monsters from those films I wonder how they might stand up to Minus One's Atomic Breath they most likely would be completely destroyed by a beam of that power and magnitude.

The only thing that confuses me about Godzilla's awesome heat ray was how did it cause a thermonuclear explosion down range? A nuclear explosion is about releasing the energy inside atoms by using very precise methods. Once released, the energy explodes. What mechanism (in universe lore) was in play to allow his breath to split atoms at a distant point, but not anywhere much closer?

Yeah, I saw the film twice at the show for re-release and it's still good. I did my best to take it all in and absorb it. If they re-release it again year upon year, you'll be guaranteed to have a ticket sold.

On a side note Dman have you seen the ledanary Godzilla playmate toys are making a Drown Viper toy , also one of the Great Apes called One Eye the one Suko kicked off the cliff. Another Kong & another Godzilla , Godzilla toy looks better then all the other playmate Godzilla toys so far. These were blurry pictures of of Facebook my brother showed me. So this will be the 3rd wave of 6 inch new empire toys.

I went to the Halloween night showing and my theater also brought up the house lights as the credits were beginning , what a loss, but missing the first release I was overjoyed to watch with the best sound design in a movie I have experienced in a while.

A little detail about Minus One Goji is that his walk cycle is taking one step at a time possibly to keep himself in balance due to how heavy he is

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. It was truly one of the best Godzilla movies of all time. Takashi Yamazaki did an amazing job with this movie and I can’t wait to see what he does next with Godzilla in the future.

I went to see Minus One again a few weeks ago, it got a rerelease in Australia (first time seeing Minus Color too!). No new footage though. I wonder if this version will come here too. On a side note I saw 1954 rerelease in cinemas that same weekend. Was on the anniversary which was AWESOME!
