It's so wholesome seeing how the community has grown from loathing to loving Zilla. He's one of my favorite Godzilla monsters and I hope we get to see him again somehow someway. Ironically his film stars the best quote in the whole franchise "Thats a lot of fish".

Yeah, he was scanned off the huge Ultimate Godzilla figure by Trendmasters, and did intentionally make him CGI not good

I don’t think they intentionally made Zilla’s CGI bad. Toho had terrible CGI during the Millennium era. Just look at the underwater scenes in G2000 and GMK

I wish HIYA Toys would make a Zilla figure. That'd be awesome. The Bandai looks cool though, too. I love the proportions over the mainline 1998 figures.

I liked the 98 Godzilla movie for being its own giant monster movie. I never looked at it as a true Godzilla movie. I love the design of Zilla.

That's how i always interpreted the movie, so the hate for it gradually went away over the years. I'll always give that movie props for making me cry when i first saw it. I was like, "They can't kill him. He's Godzilla."

The custom figure came from one of vendors in the middle aisle, I believe he also had a Manda, Kumonga, Kamacuras, and a few others (not sure if they are all are custom or not). From what you said about the spines, I believe mine is Godzilla 1998 and not Zilla 2004, and it is in a standing position like your trendmasters 1998 figure. Edit: I almost forgot, I also found a Trendmasters 1998 Baby Godzilla from another convention I went to this year, although he's not quite as big as your Baby Godzilla.

If you say that you probably never saw a single millennium era Godzilla Movie. They were clearly so hyped by 98 and how it used CGI that G2000 uses and abuses of CGI and boy, 98 has god tier CGI next to it, they even CGIed a beach, then the UFO and Orga before it transforms into the suit... dang, I think MK 95 and MK Annihilation have better CGI in those horribly done CGI monsters or that CGIed Eiffel Tower lol. I remember when I saw Zilla in FW I though to myself "Dang Toho really improved their CGI, they really came a long way since that UFO" then I saw people saying how it was done on purpose, I was wondering what were they talking about, but then I remembered that the Godzilla community doesn't watch the movies (at least the old ones) to the point that they were spewing that when there's a CGI Manda right at the start of the same movie that looks like Shenron in Dragon Ball Evolution.

Toho intentionality made Zilla’s CGI bad. To get the CG model, Toho scanned the Trendmasters Ultimate Godzilla figure. I’m glad Zilla is getting at least some attention.

You should watch the millennium era Godzilla movies if you really think that they made the CGI look bad on purpose, wait until you see that CGI beach or Orga's alien form in G2K or Dragon Ball Evolution's Shenron... I mean Manda in this same exact movie. Zilla over here is probably one of their best CGI.
