Like you I struggle with e-readers theres nothing quite like holding a physical book and turning pages it's just so tactile. With regards to eggs they are amazing as someone who is both interested I falconry long time ( finally getting my first bird next month after putting it off for 40 yrs) I also keep ducks , the first eggs my ducks lay in spring usually have thinner shells than the next batches. Funny how people think ph birds just lay eggs then they hatch, there is sooo many things that need to go right within the egg for a chick to make it out, once they get into the air sac they have a limited amount of time to pip the shell , and even when they do they are often time so exhausted they just give up , nature is so complicated, simple and beautiful. (I'm referring to my ducks eggs here so assume its similar in most birds)

Mr. Burkhead really did great in this book its really beneficial from a biology student's perspective. Ive written a book on bribooks named Broken free with broken minds. Its a short story around 4500 words and as an aspiring author, I would really love if you could read and review it. 😊

It is funny, I went 40 years or more never having seen a single one in the wild, I have now moved to Germany and lucky to live in a beautiful place with farms and forests everywhere. My job takes me out early in the morning with my hours often being 1am to 6 am or later and all of it is spent outside delivering, walking and other things but as much as I sometimes hate the work, I love it really because finally I am seeing these owls and they are just so beautiful !! What I never realised though is the noise they would make, their calls etc etc because I had all my life assumed that it would be the classic "hoo oo hooo" type of noise you would probably had you not have heard it associate when people say make an owl noise but my god it is not, at least with Barn owls it is not and when I first heard them they scared the life out of me, I thought it was an owl that had caught a baby bird or in fact it was baby barn owls screaming for their parents or something when actually it was just the barn owls I watch and see every morning, it is not the sounds I expected at all Such beautiful birds, although I have to confess I love every single animal that exists lol

Ohh so interesting, I am so glad that you are getting to hear owls. I actually went to Germany this year and was upset that I didnt hear any morning chorus of song birds, so I am glad to hear there are still areas with birds shouting. xx

@@FeathersandFurFalconryCentre Yes it is so beautiful here, or at least the part in NRW I live, sure life is a little hard with my German language skills still at novice level but hey, the animals, it is a different world to what I have lived before. I even saw a young wolf following a small group of deer a few weeks ago, the deers still amaze me, weasals, deers, rabbits are everywhere in my garden in the streets, in the early hours of course not day time. I love it but I must confess the owls are my high light, they are such a wonderful looking bird to watch whether sat perched or flying. I even had a huge buzzard attempt to grab my puppy a few months ago just days after we bought him home, was a surreal experience, I never even knew they would do that, he now has a buzzard proof spiked vest when he is out, I never even knew they existed before this either, for dogs!

Birds of prey are so beautiful but they are so majestic in the wild. I understand raptors that can no longer live wild because off injury and need to be looked after by humans but for sport or as pets im not so sure.

God is our true Creator, He created all the things we know in the present and He still creates wonders in the present, He who watches us from above, He who is the Only One who can save us from the pits of hell will remain in us and will love even the evil ones that are cussing His Perfect Being, because there is time to change our paths and He loves us because we have the power in us we need to bow before Him before it is too late for us He is Jesus Christ who will risks all the other sheeps only to save one and will go throughout every single place to find the lost one, even in the darkest of places because He knows that God is with Him and when God is with Him Our Savior can do unimaginable things and impossible things are as easy to overcome for Him as breathing air, because Our Savior is with Our Father that is in the Heavens So this is the time to change, if we don't take action in the present, our future is doomed and there is always time to change until there isn't and that my friend, brother, stranger, whatever you want me to call you will be your last time on this planet we call Earth, who was created by the Only God we need to trust and who we need to love with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength remember to turn to Him and to be with Him because i was evil in the past and did sin all day, my punishment for that was my anger, not controlling my actions and after Jesus Christ opened my eyes I started to see the truth, I was reborned, feeling more greater than ever before cause I could feel the Holy Spirit entering in me at that point, all the earthly things were pointless at the time when Jesus Christ was with me and guided me to the immortality that is in the Heavens. So repent, repent that your sins may be forgiven because God forgives all if we speak with Him, not to Him, to forgive us because we are nothing in the face of our God and we are nothing withouth Our Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ i will pray for you because He can do wonders, He can do the impossible and only He, remember that Only He can show us the way, can exterminate our temptations and deliver us from evil : for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
