Sow-rite seeds the best. I’m in zone five had a large cherry tomato plant productive, very productive. I had sown this particular plant inside last year. It was unable to pick all of the cherries as the next day in November would be frost. I mean this plant was productive with blossoms all the way through November I went out to my garden this year in April, well much to my surprise I found eight tomato plants growing on their own so apparently the plant overwintered itself and instead of five plants I have 15 maybe 18 the best seeds on the market you better get yourself some❤

I’m sorry if this question was addressed in one of the other 272 comments. What if my coleus looks full from pinching, but now the branches are dropping? Getting plenty of light in a window and I use a moisture meter so I don’t think I’m over or under watering. The plant looks super healthy, just not standing up straight. Is it too many leaves?

Hello, I loved it. Where is the second part?
@PamsPrettyPlantsАй бұрын
I did an update on a live stream once but I’m not sure if I ever did a “part 2” They grow really, really slow so they’re about the size of a dime or nickel now. I potted them up after a year and a half I believe, just into a small clay pot with cactus soil and they’re doing great.
@joselynrosario5265Ай бұрын
@@PamsPrettyPlants Thank you! Well the seeds are growing and they have little thorns or I don't know how to call it but I'm worried about the transplant to a bigger pot and the soil. Thanks again. I really enjoyed this video.
@PamsPrettyPlantsАй бұрын
@joselynrosario5265 they’re pretty resilient, don’t stress too much! I picked out the biggest ones, some just never really grew while others did, so I tossed the stalled out ones and kept the winners. I waited until they were about pea sized and used tweezers to make a little hole in dampened cactus soil and then to gently move them. Diluted fertilizer here and there helps too in bulking them up some. I’m a chronic under waterer and they’re held up great so just don’t over water and you should be just fine! Good luck!

I want the doggone purple-to-the-flesh tomato. I don't care that it's GMO. I don't care if it's called Purple Galaxy or Empress Limited Edition or Norfolk Purple Tomato. I'll take seeds. I'll take a couple of the tomatoes themselves. Why the heck are they virtually impossible to acquire now? I'm in New York. Where and how can I get my hands on this tomato?

This is super inspiring. Thanks for updating us. I am considering purchasing but I would first like to know specs. Do you know the kelvins and lumen for the sp250? The company lists watts, lux, etc., but not kelvins and lumens which is what I use to compare to lights. Also, does the 250 have IR and UV? Thank you!!!!

Not gonna lie to you friend, I have no idea! They are super responsive on social media though, I bet if you DMd them on IG they’d be happy to tell you. I think this particular light might be discontinued by now, this video is older, but I imagine they’ve got similar models. I can tell you that I’m on year 3 of using it full time, year round, on seedlings, turn down for houseplants, and it’s still going strong! My favorite light and the only “big” one I still use.

how far, distance wise (well, timewise as well) can the coleus cuttings travel? If you were to beg, borrow or steal (shhh...)
@PamsPrettyPlants3 ай бұрын
Hahah I’m not totally sure but my guess is if you plastic wrapped some damp peat moss around the cut end and didn’t ship it into the freezing cold or boiling heat it would be ok for 4 days at least. Coleus drop their leaves really easy but that doesn’t mean you can’t grow them back if you can get the stem to make it.

My grandmother grew beautiful coleus and I want to try, however, I'm in the PNW at an elevation of 2300ft and I only have windows facing north and south. Not much light. I just planted seeds, put them in an incubator for heat and added a light strip. Question! Now what do I do? This is my very first time planting...well, really anything except annuals from the nursery outside. Please help 🙏

Question? Is this something that can be done on a lower scale to prevent pests? or is this for only after it’s noticeable and out of hand?
@PamsPrettyPlants4 ай бұрын
It’s actually a lot less effective when things are out of hand. It’s been a while since I filmed this I cannot remember if I knew this at the time but it’s recommended to use beneficials after you’ve knocked the population down some. Since this video I started using pesticides for a round of cleaning/treatment, and then bringing in the “maintenance crew” to make sure everything that hatches gets taken care of. Just be mindful of leaving things like neem oil on the leaves as it’ll hurt the good guys as well. You can use systemic and beneficials because systemic poisons the leaf suckers/chewers whereas the beneficials only eat the pests. I hope this is helpful!
