I haven’t been in every dorm, and each has something different to offer, but I really enjoyed being in Noble because it’s central to campus!

I don't live there anymore, but the view was mostly a grassy hill at the back of the dorm. I always like the open views, but this one was actually pretty pleasant :)

Your vlogs make me so jealous! I'm a first year at Western and my parents met at Western. I only get two years at Western and my first year was ruined by covid. There's nothing to do anymore. I remember going to concerts and football games with my parents when I was little. I wish I had the senior year in high school and college experience I expected at Western. It's been my dream school for as long as I can remember and nothing is like it should have been.

I'm so sorry that this is so hard for you! So many people are struggling with covid and I'm sorry that it's affecting what you wanted out of college, but you're a trooper for taking things as they come. College is certainly a very special time for alot of people, but you are in charge of what those special and memorable moments are. If I could give you any sort of advice that may be helpful to you, I would say, to look for the memories you are currently making. Even if they may not be what you expected they will still be special later, when you remember what your experience was like. Your experience can still be special and memorable, even if it's not exactly what you wanted. Look for the memories and keep doing your best to find the good in your time here! You are in control of what brings you joy! I hope your time here starts to reveal all the special moments, even if it's not what you expected.

Most of them are very personable! I can't for all the professors, of course, because I haven't met all of them, but every professor I've had has been great to work with and very respectful toward me. Alot of students end up becoming very friendly with the professors in their major. Also, WCU is not very rigerous. I feel like it's the perfect learning environment. It's difficult enough to push you to learn but it's not too much.

That's so exciting! Hope you will love it as much as I do. It certainly depends on the classes and professors you take, but all the gen. ed. classes I took my first two years here were really not bad at all. WCU does a pretty good job of making sure your classes aren't too hard to let you ease into college life, so I wouldn't be worried. :)

What are the roads like around WCU

There is one main road that runs in front of campus that's pretty straight and flat as far as mountain roads go :) there are some curvy back roads, but it's really easy to drive up here.

It's moderately competitive. WCU is experiencing a growth in its student body, which makes it a little less competitive than some other colleges.

That's awesome! It is very awkward! You just gotta bite the bullet and do it! People will stare at you, but you just gotta embrace it. Sometimes I pretend like I'm face timing when I'm filming and it helps! My camera is a Canon elph PowerShot 110 HS and I just use iMovie!

Asking to join in on frisbee and football games in front of the caf found me a bunch of friends! Everyone is very friendly and will usually let you join in! People do it all the time! Also find a club or organization to join! There are so many that you can read about on WCU's website! Find one that's right for you!
