Very disappointed with the lack of support for Gletcher air guns. I bought a Nagant replica pistol and the sales specs on the site stated 18month warranty. I'd had the pistol for 6 months, used it four times and the gas seal went. I tried contacting the company listed for warranty repairs, the phone number was "no longer active" and no one answered my E/mails. A bit of researching the net showed the company was no longer in business. I contacted the vendor from whom I purchased the gun and they said there was nothing they could do. I continued searching and found that the distributer for Gletcher had changed the name of their business and I tried to contact them. After multiples of unanswered phone calls with not even an answering service, and numerous E/Mails and web messages that were never replied to I gave up. So I have a $139.00 Nagant that won't gas up unless I do the work myself and void a non existent warranty. After contacting the vendor again, I told them that there's no after sales support for Gletcher yet they still continue to list the items with a 1.5 year warranty... In the UK that would be false advertising and the vendor would be responsible for the repair or replacement of the product. Consumer laws here in the States appear to be ineffective and do very little to protect air gunners from rubbish products and bad workmanship. 30 to 90 day warranties are a joke if that's how long you can guarantee your product can work without some sort of failure...

So how would this weapon go against a Raccoon?
@nobs812414 сағат бұрын
My only complaint is not having open sights, so I will prefer Diana 460 because I do prefer the open sights, but other than that it’s awesome rifle.👍👍

What's the average number of shots out of a Co2 cartridge for the .177 version?
@AirgunDetectivesКүн бұрын
@joeydupre6153 you will get at least 60 shots on average. Ambient temperature could get you more or less. The warmer weather, the better with Co2. Happy Shooting!

Does it ruin scopes just like every spring gun since the scope isn’t isolated from the recoil
@AirgunDetectivesКүн бұрын
@brianb5505 the harsh double recoil is avoided. Your scope will be fine. Happy Shooting!

I don't understand the accuracy at 40 yards, I have the same rifle at 12ftlb and in .22 I am doing a lot of testing with the rifle and mine love's rws super domestic, I am getting 25mm groups at 50 yards consistently, my brothers rifle is even better his best is inch and a half at 61 yards. So the barrel should not be a problem. I know Terry doe the famous field target world champion in the early 90s had a hw77 tuned to the limit that had just an 8 inch barrel in .177 they shot out to 60+ yards with I believe about 10ftlbs. So it would be interesting to see another .177 tested, I would also adjust the trigger up and polish the sears it make a massive difference, I also noticed on mine that you really have to seat the pellets perfectly as they are easily shaved if not and it does have an effect on the pellet.

Hi mate, nice video. I got my dad’s 78G as my 60’th B-day present from my bro. I am wondering, it’s a 78G model but it’s written .I77 on it… Normally 78G is .22 and .I77 should be a 79G, no? Thank you for your feed-back on this divergence.

I spoke with a tech from Pyramyd about o-ring wear in this particular gun, and he said to remove the CO2 cartridge when you get through shooting it if you want the o-ring to last longer. So, two different recommendations from you and him! What do I do?

I've been looking at the Sig P229 pellet gun. Do you have any information on that? I cannot find anything online about it except for specs from Sig. Looking to see if the slide can be taken apart as it's BB gun counterpart. The P226 does not, but I was wondering if the P229 does.

A new subscriber and new to the air gunner community. I am awaiting delivery of my first PCP air rifle any day now. Thanks to lurking and personal research on air guns, I pulled the trigger and ordered the Beeman Commodore .22 regulated (1362). Air Venturi Avenger was also in consideration with the Beeman Chief II both in .22 caliber. Late night KZbin videos, notably Buck Rail Custom Airgun Gear, Johnny Mak, and FowlerAirGuns, and others helped in this story making my decision. I also made purchase of the Vevor PCP Air Compressor now limited sale at Amazon. Looking forward to any reviews on this regulated version and reasonable accessory evaluations in the future !!!
