So if I had the creativity to make this rn, I'd pretty much go the same route as you for Most of it I think. BUT. I would Drag the Engine Compartment closer to the center, to about where the Aux-Engines/thrusters on the side are located. and Integrate them directly and have them use Thrust-vectoring. And the Jaw of the ship I'd angle them inwards slightly. to maybe a 35degree angle on the inside and a 15-20 degree on the outside. the Light-Tips I'd keep pointing forwards like they do though. I love the idea pf the escape-pod/weapons-Pod and I like the ball design as a BASE hardpoint. BUT I'd fit a Dual-Turret like the other two you have mounted on the Right side on it, instead of that one Drop-ship Laser from the prequels. But that's me ^^ this is still a GREAT design :D Though I'd call it the 1350H or 1400H. this feels too much like a more modern upgrade to the Falcon than an older model. again, that's just me though ^^ it is your design to do with what you see fit and I'm here for it all day regardless. BUT if I was a smugler or Jedi in the SW universe that would be the minor changes I'd make personally ^^ Upper Ramp is way too steep though. a straight one or have the upper half be stairs going into a lower-ramp if anything ^^

After Disney, I could care less about Star wars, Mark Hammel and his delusional babbling just made the whole thing worse. This is very nice tho. Maybe, fans can keep SW alive. Nah.... Disney will frack that up too.

Opening at the front was because of escape module missing. Why mimic that in larger version? This doesn't make any sense...

Congrats! What a killer design! Really well done. I love whats going on in the center of the ship. All the hints from previous corellian designs blended together. I don´t know why but it appears sometimes like a extendable table to me. So maybe you could expand your ZT design collection with a shorter and smaller design by using the front and the rear engine section. Maybe call it ZT 600 or so ;-)

Glad you thought about the functionality as a freighter and not just the style. I agree its a shame most people never got to see that the two prongs on the Falcon were container grippers.

Malanium falcon was my favorite ship in star wars this is a serious upgrade and i want one.

Awesome, would add more "defense guns" other than that perfect. Here is the idea the YT-1300 was a mid sized tug. Your ZT 800 is a Heavy long haul tug. The nacelles on the side offer more controlled maneuvering in tight places and offer additional maneuvering thrust or in an emergency, additional thrust if the main engines go down. More engines means double the freight capacity. Having more power means a heavier defensive shield. It also allows a bit more crew space for the extended haul. Just some thoughts.

I would recommend mirror-imaging the draft, putting the cockpit on the starboard side to maintain continuity with the Millennium Falcon's basic design. Logically, it would be much easier for a pilot of the Falcon to upgrade into this model without having to adjust to the mass of the ship being to his right instead of his left.

This is an awesome design, really love the concept of a Heavier, grittier, less hero and more rugged build here. As for the problem with the gunner station not having the coverage, I'd replace that with an ordinance launcher to launch different missiles and torpedoes and whatnot. Decently armoured for a ships of that size with two twin turbolasers and a custom hard point. I love that customisable hard point, really fits into the whole CEC vibe. They build heavily customizable ships so leaning into that is always more interesting. Entire rear portion being engines, oh boy that'd be an awesome hauler for sure and can work well as a tug boat too as you said. Leaving those circular areas blank is another cool thing to do, CEC often leaves extra empty hardpoints for customers to attach stuff they want. Maybe one person would fit in point defence cannons there while another would install extra sensors and so on. That's fun. Really awesome design, i love it.

This is really fantastic work. I was thinking I missed an episode of Andor or Mandolorian where this ship made an appearance. Again, excellent work - you really got into step with the lore and design here.

I like it. after listening to the whole video and you explaining how and why you did what at various points, its very good. if you go into the lore, correllian ships like the YT series are highly modular. yours is a much larger version of the same sort of ship that the Millennium Falcon is. and a agree with your movie clip at the beginning, without containers this ship is horribly over-engined and would be very fast and highly maneuverable.

Absolutely phenomenal job

Overall I love this design. The only things I would change is remove those maneuvering engines and replace that ball turret under the cockpit with the pod, but make the pod a small launch that could be used when the ship has landed at a planetside port.
