Hey monster transmissions im looking to possibly swap my 4l60e for a 6l80e mated up to a ls1 only thing im wondering is how much bigger is the 6l80e than the 4l60e. Thinking about fitting one into my vz commodore/(usa coupe equivalent) Pontiac gto (should be the same size transmission tunnel, would a 6l80e fit?

Did you have to cut the driveshaft or anything?

I remember the truck pulling the fully loaded 747. Anyone with me?

can you use the valve body for a 96 - 06 in a 93 with a 93 Seperator plate?

The upgraded clutch pack is nice but you skipped the actual fix.

My 700R4 doesn't have that port.

I had that happen in a 4L60E just going from reverse to drive in my driveway.

That contradicted itself. If it happened again it’s Just gonna burn the pack again. No matter how tough it was.

My e40d just blew up after I rebuilt it 😂 4th clutch brunt out. Trans shop said I might have put the overdrive band in backwards or something failed. Idk how that's possible but it happened.

See with the 4l60E that came in a lot of GM trucks it's the seals that give out and roasts the clutch packs. Had to replace a few transmissions before

Why dont they just do this in the firat place from factory....have we really made american goods subpar for profit now....

Also its a 4l60, do urself a favor and get a 4l80 and a good wiring harness the hard shift will dissapear

Do you have a lockup kit for a 4l60 none E ? It has 4th gear port but only one wire pigtail on the other side.

Hi, I have a 95 suburban 4x4, I put a 99 4x4 trans in it. It runs but it doesn’t get out of 1st gear. What can I do?

Got a question on the 4r100 4X4 trans. Mine has two sensors 1 top/front (input shaft/turbine speed sensor) and 1 top/rear (output shaft/ output speed sensor). Are they both the same or is one shorter (insert magnetized plug) and the part number/numbers ?

You solved part of the mystery. I would have liked to see more detail on the hydraulic circuit and how it applied the pressure to force the clutch plate against the case. Thanks for the vid.

i have a 700r4 in my 55 chevy, and its not shifting into overdrive around 45-60mph by it self unless i manually do it. would that be a bad adjust to the TV cable?

I bought the SS kit for the 4L60E kit. Its good for 650 hp and 600Ft/lbs of torque. 427 SBC in front of it in a S10!
