In a few episodes, Krell quickly became my favourite antagonist of the series outside of Cad Bane. When he says “I will not be undermined by creatures bred in some laboratory” it really sets him as unique among the series, demonstrating that the idea of cloning isn’t universally agreed upon and some are even militantly against it.

Kanan introducing the crew incorrectly makes me laugh every single time I watch it. I don't think I caught it until my second watch through, but I rewound it like 3 times cause I couldn't stop laughing. I've watched this series so many times. I still laugh at this. I love these characters so much.

It’s not called moraband

To me, Krell has to be one of the scummiest villains in Star Wars history. The second we meet him he degrades his clones and uses their numerical codes instead of nick names like Rex or Cody, unlike someone like Palpatine who atleast for a while put on a façade of joy to conceal his treasonous plans. He was cocky in the way he spoke, he knew how much power he had and abused it until he was caught, unlike someone like Maul or Grievous who let their weapons talk for them.

This. Was a weird arc. Very Star Trek.

They need to stop treating Star Wars like it’s for children and start making them let’s say for mature young adults like the Empire was for.

An idea has popped into my head. What if Palpatine specifically assigned Krell to the 501st to give them some early experience hunting Jedi, knowing not only that they'd discover his treasonous behavior (that he presumably knew about) and try to arrest/execute him, but also that they'd be the right hand of Vader? Giving his enforcer the most experienced Jedi hunters of the Republic.
