Seeing Ahsoka and Luke Skywalker interact is the most anticipated and significant moment in the history of STAR WARS! I wish we could see how they met and I’m sure Luke will have told her that Anakin found his redemption in the end. Leading us all into the hype and anticipation for the Ahsoka Tano series I hope Ahsoka will reunite with Rex and connect with Anakin’s force spirit

Well, we see her and Anakin and he is training Grogu, something she refused to do and said it is better that his force abilities fade, but she is happy Luke is training Grogu. So It seems likely he did tell her of Anakin's redemption and that is why she accepts his training Grogu and others to become Jedi.

Ahsoka and Luke together were the best thing I've seen in a long time. Also, it's a great thing that much more experienced Ahsoka watches over and advises Luke in his efforts to create a Jedi Academy.
@LoreFreak2 жыл бұрын
Indeed, I think they can learn from each other but it was clear this episode that Luke is really looking up to her. It just makes sense, she is THE last surviving jedi of the old order. My mind is spinning when I think about all the possibilities for the future content.

@@sword4005 We don't have an indication of her staying. Plus him making the exact same temples he did in the sequels. The indication of the Emperor's cloning in earlier episodes of the Mandalorian, etc all point to the sequels being something intertwined.

Which again makes no sense for the sequels. Ahsoka saw the flaws of the jedi before even Anakin came to terms with it, there’s no way she would advise Luke down the path he chose in the sequels. If anything Ahsoka’s presence would lead more towards legends New Jedi Order I would think.

Definitely a heartwarming timing. Like Anakin's Force Ghost is adding that from beyond because Luke is a little better than Anakin could ever be back then. Luke is so much like his father, but he most definitely has his mother's heart and forgiving nature.
@nateborie63292 жыл бұрын
Man I really love the idea of Ahsoka watching over Luke the same way Anakin looked after her. And the way she said “I’m an old friend of the family,” I almost wanted to cry from how well Disney is connecting the prequel and original trilogies together while also including characters from The Clone Wars and the other animated tv series. My only complaint with this episode is the fact that Luke was so willing to hand Grogu the lightsaber that once belonged to Yoda when he hasn’t earned the right yet. At this point, Grogu’s still trying to remember the ways of the Force after being on the run for over twenty years. He hasn’t earned the right to hold or even be in the presence of Yoda’s lightsaber or a lightsaber in general until he has grown stronger. He also has to choose his own Kyber Crystal and build his own lightsaber. No doubt Luke did the same thing when he built his green lightsaber.
@NocturnalAnimations1012 жыл бұрын
Technically speaking he wasn't gonna hand the lightsaber to Grogu just like that. He was giving Grogu the choice to pick between the Saber (stay with Luke and train with him, so that one day he can take Grogu to build his own Saber) or the Beskar Armor (go with Din and continue their adventures together)
@LordStrell2 жыл бұрын
You have to remember that even in Legends, the Skywalker academy did not run the same way as the old Jedi Order. If anything I am pretty certain this is just a prelude to Grogu erasing the sequel trilogy into a bad alternate universe in the mirror.
@nateborie63292 жыл бұрын
@@LordStrell I hope so. And I don’t know very much about the Legends lore and the Skywalker Academy. But what I do know from this episode is that Luke has proven he is far superior as a teacher and mentor to a Jedi Padawan that has lived on the run from the Empire for more than two decades than the two people that trained him and the entirety of the old Jedi Order. Considering the fact that he saw Grogu interested in chasing after the frog and he understood that even though Grogu is training, he can still show kindness and be a show off and lift every frog in the creek out of the water. Luke told him stories about Yoda, trying to use his own experience as an apprentice in order to inspire Grogu. And unlike Obi-Wan and Yoda, Luke is actually willing to give Grogu a choice in being a Jedi or going back to Din. Obi-Wan and Yoda never did that. They either made the decision to not train someone or they held on so tightly that they became more tyrannical that mentors. So, Luke is succeeding in areas where Obi-Wan and Yoda failed, and it shows that Luke is still learning while teaching.
@elitheOG2 жыл бұрын
I understand that but getting a kyber is more ceremonious than just being given someone else's lightsaber. Luke's first lightsaber wasn't something he crafted.
@nateborie63292 жыл бұрын
@@elitheOG It was passed down to him from Obi-Wan who took it from Anakin when he left him on Mustafar to burn alive in a pit of lava. Yeah, I know where Luke’s first lightsaber came from and believe me, I have serious mixed feelings about that thing.

Ahsoka wasn’t elusive or even ousting in the scene about Grogu learning. She seemed to stay attuned but not entirely because she has remembered the scars of her past. To teach someone else is to bring back a strict memory about imperfect vision of Anakin which wasn’t clearly processed after Order 66 and her semi-exile. The grief was too deep and could blunt her senses in aftermath. She recalls her master's mistakes very easily. Ahsoka Is roguelike Jedi (even no more!) but openhearted. For Luke she seems to be like Sibylla of Ancient Roman believes. Thank you for this footage. Keep up a good work!
