I think combining massage with an inversion table a couple time a day would be good. The inversion table really puts a lot of blood in your scalp

Everybody's body is different ...my hair definitely thins more when I smoke a lot.... I stopped smoking for 4 weeks and noticed my front hairline begin getting a lot thicker... especially on the corners... started back smoking and the hair began thinning very quickly on the corners of my hairline again within like 1 week... So in my case smoking definitely thins hairline!!!

If you've already lost a lot of hair then hair transplants are a great way to fill in those areas. No amount of treatment is going to recover a large area of lost hair. But the things with hair transplants is that you need to have stabilised your hair loss first. Most people take finasteride to do this but not everyone can.
@EriPages

@@Hairguard You are right in this area as well. If the hair loss is too far gone, massaging may no longer be effective. But I'd recommend even a bald person to massage their scalp VIGOUROUSLY for at least a straight 2 years. It's possible the scalp my once again regrow the hair even from baldness. 2 years of vigorous massaging is fair effort IMO, before going the hair transplant route.

But what causes scalp tension? Skull expansion. DHT effect on bone growth at the temples and crown, which is genetic. A growing skull creates scalp tension and loss of blood flow.

This is an interesting question. Partly genetic and partly environmental. We can do into more depth in another video.
@stinger0772
@stinger0772 3 күн бұрын
@Hairguard Not a question, I'm stating the cause of scalp tension: skull expansion, and it's 100% genetic. Just a few millimeters of scalp bone growth can reduce scalp blood flow and cause thinning hair and balding. It also explains why the shape of balding heads turn from looser, softer, flatter, squarish to tighter, harder, rounder, bulbous, and bigger. Scalp tension manifests in the pattern of skull bone growth throughout adulthood. DHT is the culprit, but it's primarily due to its bone growth properties on the top of the scalp.

I´ve been doing personal research for a coupple years now, finding the things that work, and the things that don´t, comparing results and checking testimonies, and I got to the conclusion that it´s all about blood flow, I don´t have the resources to get to a more technical explanation, but it is about blood flow. so this video is awesome, and a great comfirmation of that, Plus it also gives another reason I missed, the scalp tension part. I wanted to avoid finasteride and minoxidil at all costs, so i´ve been researching and my treatment has been narrowed down to Microneedling (with Pen, no roller) scalp massages and increasing the amount of vitamin D3 I consume daily.

@ please check out and evaluate DMSO. Newhairformula has a product with DMSO + rosemary and peppermintoil + minoxidil (but they seem scammy). However there is a book called "Healing with DMSO" that has a similar formula without minoxidil. They break down and reference DMSO research, and it has been proven to be a vasodilator (transdermal). I have been on a protocol for 2.5m combining: 1. DMSO + rosemary and peppermint oil (dont want minoxidil due to side effects) every night 2. Niostem - german hair stem cell helmet. 3. Growband daily. 4. Also focus on diet and nutrition. I am NW 5-6 (34y and lost hair for 12 y) and now see thicker vellus hairs on my entire scalp - not cosmetically visible for others yet, but hopefully things do terminal in 6-12 months.

@Hairguard ..I agree...and low blood flow is another. My theory is men drink more alcohol, which thru dilation, sinks blood to the feet. Or with heavier amounts, constricts flow altogether. And there are many tiny capillaries which could be affected. No video I've seen ever mentioned this..

I live in Japan and I thought that Asians and Japanese people had healthy hair, but I see a lot of women with large thinning hair and bald men and I am sure that today's diet also has a cosmic effect on hair loss. I see added sugar everywhere in products, even healthy ones, and the Japanese are addicted to sugar and salt. Man was not created to eat rice, bread or other carbohydrates in huge quantities. I also have a problem with my hair, but since I stopped eating pasta, bread and rice 3 months ago, my hair seems thicker, my face has become smoother and I have more energy - I eat a lot of meat (beef, fish and a lot of nuts). Fortunately, Japan has a lot of vegetables, fish and meat :)

How does this fundamentally change the understanding of male pattern baldness? Even if scalp tension plays a role, it’s clear that androgens are the underlying cause, as they mediate any such effects. This is evident because when androgens are removed or blocked, the progression of baldness stops. Ultimately, the genetic predisposition and androgen activity remain the root drivers, regardless of any secondary mechanisms like scalp tension.

I would never consider Finasteride because of messing with my hormones (I also realized I wouldn't be able to donate plasma). I tried minoxidil but after 3 months, my scalp starting breaking out in scaly psoriasis, which I read could be from the propylene glycol. Regardless, it wasn't that effective. I also swear by my inversion table, so I will now be massaging my scalp while hanging upside down!

I did struggle but didnt care at all, as I shaved my hair almost weekly. Than they found a D3 level of 17 ng/nl ... I started to supplement and felt much much better very quickly. Than I bought other stuff and felt that my remaining hair is growing much quicker than before. I thought about my missing hair. Because of the energy boost, I started to workout in the gym and I drank some protein shakes and than suddenly thin areas on the crown became much thicker, I drank more protein shakes over the coming days and my hair gets better and better. I had a strong protein, amino deficiency. The temples are still void but now I do my best: Collagen, D3, Zink, protein, Omega, Iron, Vitamin A, Biotin and all the B vitamins; all that followed by oil and scalp massages (with Boar Bristle Brush) and intensive sport :)

L reuteri is a transient gut microbe. Very few people will have it in their gut unless they consume it regularly. Furthermore one pill cannot provide high enough numbers for this bug to make a difference. That’s why people who are serious about the gut microbes make homemade yogurt with l reuteri- they can take in thousands of times as many active units and in those quantities they can have a real impact on your health.

So genetically, some of us get increased scalp tension while others do not? Does the study say anything about this?
@austinmeredith6647
@austinmeredith6647 4 күн бұрын
Do muscle scraping. Your scalp tension is being caused by tight facial and neck muscles. Think of it as putting a sock on but pulling it beyond snug fit. I buzz my head down and use tallow to lubricate my scalp. I use a gua sha steel blade to scrap my scalp, facial and neck muscles. The blood flow you can feel. Some areas I had a burning spot which indicates severe inflammation which correlated with greater hair loss. I have been doing this and over time, several months, I have seen my hair thickening. I went carnivore, filter my water, use shower filter, and do not eat processed foods.

@@eirikstensrud Yeah I scrap the scalp and some areas hurt. The scar tissue breaks down and over time I see hair growing back. Much better. But there are so many factors. Need sunlight, real food, high fatty meats, no beer, filter water with reverse osmosis, shower filter, stay away from processed foods and sugars, and exercise. Also need to let go of things that are mentally holding you down. A high amount of protein too. The body will sacrifice hair to maintain other parts of the body if protein intake is not adequate, I get around 200 grams of protein and I am at 188 pounds at 13.5% BF.
