Same video and info as always. Scalp tension is a root cause. Do scalp massages or buy the band. Saved ya'll 6 min.
@2drealms19625 күн бұрын
Probably not the root cause, but circulation. So diet and sleep are probably important too. Lack of sleep and poor high fat diet is linked to balding and linked to cardiovascular and vascular issues. So combining the growband with other things that improve circulation.

@@2drealms196 I wonder what actually causes the scalp tension in the first place?
@Conservative_carnivore25 күн бұрын
@RationalRage9 Inflammation. Poor circulation, hormonal imbalances, and nutritional deficiencies. Micronutrients like zinc, copper, selenium, b12, etc. fight for receptors on hair follicles and help prevent the effect of DHT.
@RationalRage925 күн бұрын
@@Conservative_carnivore True, but DHT is not the cause of the scalp tension, but a symptom. That's what I'd like to prevent.
@Conservative_carnivore25 күн бұрын
@RationalRage9 Just listed it. Keep low bf% (low insulin) and eat enough protein and micronutrients (fatty meat high in collagen). Hair is made up of keratin and requires micronutrients to grow. Low bf% ensures higher levels of nitric oxide and lower levels of estrogen/prolactin.

I would say chronic stress and sedentary lifestyle are big factors. Stress causes the release of epinephrine which restricts peripheral vessels, and shunts blood to the vital organs. Normally this is designed to cause a fight or flight reaction to get you to a place of safety where you can relax again. But with chronic stress and lack of activity the blood is restricted away from the scalp for long periods of time with no relief, so the tissue and hair follicles start to die from hypo perfusion.

DHT gel can be safely used on the glans and prepuce with no systemic absorption, especially after the edema induced by an air vacuum device. Use microneedling + castor oil on the scalp, and take many oral supplements, with no need to eliminate the precious DHT.
@sirt135325 күн бұрын
How will that help? Using this dht gel as u say - how long should it be on before washing to avoid systemic absorption?
@Sleepdriver198424 күн бұрын
@sirt1353 It only needs to be applied to the distal third of the penis, where there are the active AR, and the swelling or even some heat both keep it completely topical, with benefits to sexual function and enlargement, no need to wash it away, just wash the penis after every mincturition and you can safely re-apply it on the same part, it won't reach the scalp in any possible way

I am so confused. What does this have to do with the hair or hair loss. And why would you want to put DHT on your D? Is it d growth you are after? But then again what does this have to do with this video.
@Sleepdriver198424 күн бұрын
@cajampa because there is DHT as exogenous gel and it works, under certain conditions, to restore penile health and length (including after prostatectomy o trauma), and someone might think it could worsen hair loss while it doesn't, that's it
@Hairguard24 күн бұрын
Topical DHT blockers do have some systemic absorption.

Diet also play a major role toward health and hair. You have to take anti inflammatory foods, antioxydants, probiotics, prebiotics, etc... Focus on the gut health, sleep, physical activity, stress management and be sure having enough nutrients, vitamins per day. Also, take supplements that can helps to reduce fibrosis and calcification, and keep doing scalp massaging for at least 20 minute a day, separating few sessions during the day, and working on everypart 9f the scalp so as to promote global elasticity and bloodflow.

So if someone who’s lost their hair due to AGA, that has been bald for years, addresses the problem of scalp tension effectively, along with the DHT issue and maybe add some other things like microneedling for example, that means that with consistency, they’ll have their hair back eventually?
@GehnichtaufHaus24 күн бұрын
Hate to tell you, but once it’s gone it’s gone. That is why you have to act as soon as you notice it. If you still have enough donor hair, you might be able to get a hair transplant.
@hootingdragon264824 күн бұрын
Try experimenting: first look at how much hair you have grown back, and you should be able to understand whether these treatments are helping you maintain your hair or not as well as regrow it (it is very important). If you manage to recover a decent amount of hair, you can try to do the transplant. But as said before, you have to make sure that those treatments help you maintain your hair, because even the transplanted hair can fall out. Otherwise go for hair systems

I'm 59 and thought my regrowth chances were slim at best. But I was wrong. I've been using an inversion table for about 3 years and immediately noticed loss stopage and slow regrowth, so I figured my issue was blood flow related. Then I watched HairGaurd video on scalp tension and fibrosis. About 3 months ago I added daily deep scalp massage daily for 15 minutes per day while I'm on inversion table. I'm also doing bimonthly 1.5mm microneedling. Looks like I've found the golden combo, hair growth trajectory went way up. Thanks HairGuard for the info that really helped me.
@Hairguard23 күн бұрын
Thats great. How many minutes per week do you use the inversion table?
@invertage23 күн бұрын
@Hairguard I do inversion 15 minutes every day for spine and other longevity benefits. While I'm hanging instead of doing nothing, I do scalp massage. Inversion does help with blood flow to scalp, so it's a good add on. Instead of inversion table, could lower head over edge of a bed or sofa.

Interesting, but what causes the chronic tension of the scalp in the first place? Shouldn't we be looking to prevent the tension?
@Hairguard25 күн бұрын
There are lots of different factors that cause the initial tension. We can make a video about it if you want. Massages and Growband are the best ways to reduce it.
