I started losing hair in my 30s, I'm now 59. Been using minoxidil since 40, it may have slowed the loss, but it was a losing battle. At 55 i went hardcore on health with diet and exercise. I started using an inversion table and quickly noticed regrowth, i recently added deep scalp massage on crown and temples. I'm seeing continuing regrowth. I think main issue with my hair loss has been poor blood flow and tight scalp. I no longer have to wear a hat if i dont want to, now its to keep hair out of my eyes. 😸

Even on the temples?
@invertage5 ай бұрын
@khairt1731 On temples I am slowly getting some new growth on edges. I wish it was faster, but the fact that it's reversing and I'm no longer losing is good. I'll keep at it doing everything I can for blood flow to wake up dormant miniature hairs.

After how many weeks/months did you start seeing regrowth?
@invertage4 ай бұрын
@tarun9542 After starting inversion in about 2 months I started noticing regrowth. Then I went hardcore on diet and supplements. As of late I've added deep massage while inverted and doing micro needling 1.5mm. I continue to see new regrowth l, not as fast as I'd like but I'm heading in the right direction and it's all natural and I'm not losing hair anymore.

I take vitamin B3, the one that flushes your skin due to capillaries expanding. Everytime I take it, I can see that the area of my hairline does not flush, probably poor capillary circulation in that area.

Could that reduced blood flow in balding areas be the result of balding, rather than the cause? I remeber reading a research concluding that it was a result of balding rather than a cause.

The bloodflow isn't the issue for the hair loss to begin with.. your diet is. Wheat flour often triggers gluten sensitivity issues creating excessive earwax and balding.. I stopped losing hair when I stopped eating wheat!

Does moving scalp muscles i mean contracting it left right up down in all directions often could also activate blood flow as scalp massage etc? I've seen one guy on ytb who was doing it and says that it helped him to keep his hair mostly on hairline for longer time ? Could that be true and effective as scalp massage or combinating a mix of two would be beneficial?
