System I'm working on failure has several forms Tie if the DC is 13 and you get 13 you do the thing with a minor consiquence, you bake the cake but you used soy milk instead of oat milk so your friend with a minor soy alergy can't have any, or you climb the rock wall and your hands are now scratched up, you drive to the meeting and are a minute late. fail any fail that isn't by 5 or more, so 12 to to 8: you don't do it, you realize you're out of flour so don't make a cake, you can't find good hand holds so don't climb, you take your time driving and are 10 minutes late but fine. Crit fail by 5 or more something goes bad, you start a small kitchen fire, you make it up 10m before falling and spraining your ankle, you drive too fast and your car breaks down, something bad but not adventure ending just a hinderance going forward. Legendary fail, fail by 10, you screw up big time, you start a big fire and can't stay at your place any more and might be at risk whilst escaping, you climb further up and recieve a major injury on the way down like a broken arm or you're drving and end up getting in a crash. and total fuck up. the super rare chance that you manage to roll all 1s on the dice, like 1 in 200, GM and player colaborate to tell the trainwreck of how you fully fuck up in a way that questions probability, generally pushing the story in a new direction. outside of combat this isn't even harmful, you just have a new problem, your prized spoon is stolen by a bird and you now have a compulsion to chase that bird and get the spoon back, you find a hidden cave whilst climbing and after exploring need to find a way out, you find a pregnant man whilst driving and have to get him to the hospital, forget the meeting. The goal of total fuck up is your attributes and skills are dice sizes, and being horrible at things shouldn't always mean that you suffer, it just means that the universe doesn't let you do them, that way the players still have something fun there. The exception is story esential knowledge rolls, for them I just stole from call of Cthulhu, success you know, degree of failure, you find out in a dramatic and dangerous way. for warewolve weakness, you only find out because an NPC they care about died for not knowing, or they realize at the start of the fight and now it's a chase to the near by abandoned mines. t5o find the hermit, success you find him, failure, he finds you only after you're in a tight spot, and now you need to work together to survive the encounter you got yourself in like xer showing up as you're being attacked by a treeant.

An anti-cleric by the rules is literally just any chaotic cleric. There's nothing saying a player can’t be a chaotic cleric, unless you as a GM rule that players cant be chaotic. I suppose there’d be value in treating them exclusively as monsters but I think it’s a better interpretation that the anti clerics are those clerics which serve chaos, and this is supported by later rules.

You should make a Kindred of the East character since that game line has lots of fans in it.

It seems to me that Free League may be hesitant to include safety tools in their games, partly due to a reluctance in Europe to adopt what are seen as primarily American cultural standards. In general, we tend to have a higher tolerance for challenging content-swearing and nudity, for example, are not typically censored on European television. However, since their game is based on an American TV show, they likely felt obligated to include some form of safety tools. Striking the right balance here is tricky. While it's not entirely the game’s responsibility to enforce respectful behavior among players, there are cases where the game’s darker themes demand a little extra sensitivity. Kult: Divinity Lost handled this well, in my view, by creating safety tools specifically tailored to its content, rather than using the standard ones seen in other games.

I mean, they already gave English names to humans and Super Cool Original Race *DON'T STEAL* (in hindsight, really weird how they gave humans and the blatant favourite solely English names, when humans as the traditional "everyman that fits in anywhere" species would make sense to just be a grab-bag of Medieval European names), yet they don't give them to the ONE race strictly from English folklore.
