Great video Pedro. Can you change your camera lens in the next video please? The current lens gives a stretched wide angle view which does not give an accurate view of the gun.

What is the advantage of a Detachable Trigger mechanism? I remember drooling over the older DT10 When they came out. I was never able to get one. Now I’m just now getting back into clays and pulling out my old browning and skb (which has a very similar locking mechanism to the DT11)

Hi Pedro, a great video and really appreciate the information your provide. I am currently shopping for a new gun, but the 688 is at the upper end of my price range. I have narrowed my list to the BR110 and the 688, but I cant decide which way to go. My question, would you trade in your BR110 for the 688?

Amazing content as always, love your objectiveness and how you cover topics in detail! I do have one question though, what do you think about the browning 525? I'm assuming that you don't sell Brownings and that's why you haven't covered the 525, but it seems to be a very popular entry-level gun too.

Even though im a Rizzini fan, the BT99 is probably the staple of Trap Shooting. Either one would be good
@Irishpete-c7i13 күн бұрын
@@LetsTalkShotguns Thanks. I have shot the BT-99 and I liked it. I didn't know if I should get an over/under which would allow me to shoot skeet and sporting clays even though I have never tried them.

You are right. F=ma (It is Newton's equation) "F" is force. Here is power of gun powder. "m" is mass. Here is mass of the gun. "a" is acceleration. Here is recoil. So, recoil is inversely proportional to mass of the gun if power of gun powder is constant.

Another hugely enjoyable and informative video. I can well understand the former K80 shooter feeling delighted with the purchase from you. Because the SL2 is so much more expensive, the choice for me would be between the DT11 and Perazzi MX2000S, but as a left handed shooter, the delivery time (in the UK, circa 12 months) is the major issue for a custom order on either gun.

SL2 is a lovely gun but is it really worth x2 that of a DT11? 😏
@LetsTalkShotguns14 күн бұрын
Well, a gun is worth whatever people are willing to pay for it. Investing money to design a new barrel might be worth it for some and not others and thats why i think its important to have options.
@arthur70315 күн бұрын

Hardly ground breaking r/d, the DT10 lockup on a modifed SO reciever, its just a mash up of both with a massive price tag because thats beretta, they add a "new" tech name and the masses think its some magic dust

@guydgreenfield you do know the names they use for barrel "tech" are just names for forging processes? To ream and hone a bore over nominal shape/lengths isn't earthshattering, no doubt they spend money- but most of that would be on marketing teams and ideas to move product.

LTS - many thanks for this first rate presentation on the differences, pros and cons of each type - and completely free of the usual *guff* about "what gun snobs think!" I'm just about to start clay shooting - which actually has far more in common with the target pistol shooting I used to do; both being very much down to hand / eye co-ordination, rather than trying to turn your body into a human bench rest, which was what seemed to be the idea when I tried rifle shooting! So your video has given me all the info I need to make an *informed* choice about what gun will best suit me and my personal circumstances. PS - this one video has convinced me to subscribe :)
