I still prefer pocket 3 even if i will have iphone 15 pro max because if u will lost your iphone.... Goodbye all photos and videos in there and all that u have in it especially those important datas u have in the phone while if pocket 3 only then at least only the photos and videos. And by the way, my boyfriend is a photographer and videographer as well for more than a decade already but he still he preferred pocket 3 and he's a samsung phone. We was using the pocket 3 so incredibly nice captured photos and videos and even he is using it from one of his drones because of the pocket 3 camera is really better than drones camera.

are you sure? 216mm ? so why there is mark EF-S you are buing EF-S for cropp factor and you are buying that EF-S because you wan that declared range from 18 - 135. So the 18mm on this lens is different than 18mm on the kit lens?

To be honest. That camera seems to be comparable to the BM micro studio camera but without many essential features for broadcasting. If the camera is not intended for that, it has to be way cheaper then 1.000€. I would be interested in the intended use case.

I shot a Hasselblad for years with the aperture and shutter ring on the lens. You could even lock them in sync to keep the same exposure value. It was easy and quick to use.

Different cameras have different strengths and weaknesses. They don’t all do all photo jobs well. The Q3 is not an everyday jobbing photographer’s camera.

I'm a few years late, but I have another good one: If you plan on using the HFR modes, change 'record setting' to 60p. Since it plays the whole clip while saving, it'll take half the time to save. Then reduce it to 30 or 24p in editing later if desired

There are several brands of strap systems but one I have used for 15 years with no failures is Op/Tech. I use their sling strap system and wrist strap. Very well USA made, lifetime warranty, and excellent pricing.

So the a7CR looks really interesting as a camera to carry around all day on the streets. The only thing that stops me is the small viewfinder. I really need it and can't only use the screen.🤔

It's why for some martial arts, one goes back from black belt to a white one. It's why some folks go back to film despite that being so cumbersome. Being able to do everything yourself feels different. Like building your own log cabin. It's not for most people though :) P.S. ironical Leica makes camera for photography purists who crave tactile feel yet now hear people complain it doesnt allow him just do more advanced version of "point n shoot". I have SL2-S, Z7 (previous D780, 810, Df, ...) now going back to basics. Hope he realizes that at the end P.P.S. i never take SD cards out of my Leica - just use Leica app to transfer for editing / publishing on my phone

I also love this camera; however, my only complaint is that the menu doesn’t always display on the screen unless I have the display opened & extended. I also had the same problem with the original A7C (which I sold). Do you have this problem? I just learned to live with it - I rarely use the menus except to format the card.

This is probably one of the best explanations of why many people love the Q3 (which I just preordered); I also own and shoot an a7rv. I'm looking forward to the limitations and being forced to work creatively within them while being more methodical about my shooting. I also don't want to think about which lenses I should bring, I want to grab and go but with quality IQ. After playing with the Q3 while in Austria and Japan, I was hooked but unfortunately, no one had them in stock.

Why not mount the cold shoe vertically on the side? The angle isn't going to affect your mic and all of the other drawbacks with the flash and shutter button will be restored.

Just bought my second one. Couldn't justify a $2000 full frame body for marginal improvements over the 90d, especially for nature and sports work where I need the reach and crop.

A Rolex is not just a watch, and a Leica is not just a camera - no need to say more about it. Either you feel that "Leica spirit" as soon as you hold it in your hands or you don't. If the price is an issue, or the "how much features do I get for my money?" question, get something else.
