I think if there's a bug where romance banter will trigger for any of the characters, even ones you're not romancing. Which can be amusing.

There is definitely bugs related to this. I got Dark Justiciar lines for Selûnite Shads and vice versa there were even more. My spouse had Shads as a friend and still some of these lines triggered in that playthrough. And Wyll's lines didn't consistently have subtitles for them (had to add them) and had delays.

Thank you for this and Shadowheart's parents' fate versions video! I've finished my first playthrough a couple of weeks ago and it was such great experience! I played as a light domain selunite cleric just for this wonderful romance and adventure with Shadowheart! The decision with parents was so hard and one of the most heartbroken moments in the game.. I told Shadowheart to ask her parents and choose by herself. Giving her parents a good end and curing the wound provided such a beatiful cutscene.. but very sorrowful too :( My first finale was a bit of self-sacrificed and tragic, I choose my Tav to become mindflayer for the final battle, so I did last kiss with Shadowheart in astral plane (as you showed here too!) And in the end.. I couldn't allow her to be with tentacle monster my Tav have become. His selunite's duty was done so he just took a knife, pointed the blade at the abomination and Shadowheart said very emotional: "What are you doing?! No!" I realised how leaving our beloved cleric girl alone felt so wrong, so I reloaded, made Orpheous to become mindflayer and finished second time for staying and adventuring with Shadowheart in the end. :)

I know who you are, I've watched some of your videos :) I haven't stopped making videos, I just don't have time anymore to do them as often as I would like, as you probably know as a youtuber that making them takes a lot of time. These all dialogue type of videos are especially slow to make. Thank you for leaving a nice comment and I'm glad I have been an inspiration for you and I'm glad you're making Shadowheart videos as well, there never can be enough ❤

@@shadow_risen yes there can never be enough of her ❤️, but I can't deny that since Baldur's Gate 3 popularity aren't on the same height as what it used to be anymore, it honestly makes me sad to see people already moving on from her, one day we'll eventually moving on from BG3 altogether, such is life, but I'll never forget her as she was part of our everyday life once, at least we still have these Shadowheart videos we made that we can always return to once in a while, just to remember her by ❤️ Wherever you are, I hope you're always doing well out there my friend, take care.

@@DragonsDream True, people will eventually move on and they already have started to, which is sad. I'm nowhere near ready to move on, I have so many video ideas left for Shadowheart ❤ But I think bg3 will become one of those games that people will never forget (like mass effect, witcher etc.) so in a way there will always be some people around and new generations of gamers will find the game. And I like that idea we can return to reminisce about Shadowheart through our videos! Take care as well, friend ❤

Well, this is the darker Dark Justiciar romance path where she dedicates herself fully to Lady Shar. There can not be room for anyone else in her heart than Shar. She breaks up with Tav after the final battle and aren't officially together in the epilogue. If you want an actual romance with Shadowheart, you need to choose the Enemy of Shar path where she abandons Shar.

People complained that many of the characters were too mean in EA, including Shads, and the Larian toned it down for the full release.

As someone who loves playing sharrans in tabletop 5e, Shadowheart's storyline is such a great way of getting inspiration on how to rp as these kinda of characters. The way Shart is written here is so perfect for her as a sharran, and imo is more interesting narratively than her as a selunite.

25 minutes of dialogue. With tight cuts/ transitions. All that over just a single situation in a single night. Truly makes you wonder if there will ever be another game just like it. Perhaps the next Larian game if we are lucky. Crazy effort you put in there, very much appreciated. Curiosity often takes the better of me and I start questioning my own dialogue choices. Videos like these save a lot of trouble.

4:20 The first time I found that dialogue, Gale's animations glitched out and he was stuck staring at her in silence after she finished. It was the funniest thing.

How did you unlock the dialogue options herte she talked more in the water and you got to splash her (the no nudity). Becausr i didnt get those options at all! Did tey wipe it out with patch 6? And i played this about a month ago.

You need to have "no nudity" selected in the settings of the game, then it will play that scene in a different way and there's an option to splash her.

So cutscenes like that can happen even if you don't play as that Origin character? Has this always been a thing? I remember there were times when my Tav and the others were far behind and they still kind of "teleported" to the cutscene when it triggered. Not sure if there was an update since then that changed that
