Clearly he's not OK with it. He brings it up constantly. As for whether he liked Dr. King, there's no direct evidence, but Trump's long history of racism would strongly suggest that he doesn't like anything that Dr. King fought for. This entire speech seethes with resentment at Dr. King for having a bigger crowd than he did. And this isn't the only time he's made the comparison. He also did it in 2022.
