The onions and jingle must have come out shortly after this commercial. I thought at first that they would be in it.

Fundamentally the Big Mac is an always has been an incomplete ratio of protein and carbohydrates. First problem is there's just too much bread three's slices of bread for two pieces of meat is just not correct You need equal distribution of bread to meat ratio. Secondly McDonald's relies too heavily on their slightly altered variation of thousand Island dressing as their secret sauce, unfortunately the sauce is too sweet and acidic which really does no benefits since the hamburgers used in the Big Mac are very lean and have little flavor by themselves so ultimately you're left with a dripping meat tower of mainly sauce that is overly sweet and pungent. I'm an old school person My saying is less is more and nothing speaks more volumes in a sandwich that has each flavor individually shine but ultimately equals a product that is more than the sum of its parts.
