Yet again I said nothing that's been put together that somebody believes that Chevrolet made step sides in 85!!! That bed come off of 75 model I know the difference...

Thanks, I had ONE( almost exactly like this), of these in 1966-8(automatic went out later, & Paint /Bondo split, etc., &=was driven Hard (?)initially)……This, Mechanical Rebuild appears good, & Body work appears WAY **BETTER, than I got, etc. ( I had 352/ 4 BBL, “ new Canvas Top, in 1966”, “Repainted, & rust treated ((?.)), also….. Interestingly, I had to get four new tires immediately: my Mechanic suggested switch tO new RADIAL PLY , BFGOODRICH (?), for better mileages/ Tractions…….( handling / braking was problematic, anyways: as maybe remembered just Front Monroe “HD SHOCKS “,QUICKLY)….Anyways, good memories from Northern Indiana, & Purdue University ,Times….ps:: the 1961 Ford Convertible was probably the WORST USED CAR I EVER bought (High mikes, Road salt exposures, body-WORK, Transmission,& exhaust esp., Engine did keep Running (knocked/ some oil), & NEW TIRES T!!!

The only item that is not top level "Protour/Restomod" status is the 4 speed transmission. Put a T56 or TKX in her and it will be every bit as incredible as those $250k versions out there. Maybe AC for us folks in Florida also.

Sounds like it's mis firing, It sounds like the plug wire are arching across some metal form? I believe that is the popping noise in the engine bay or exhaust manifold leak? Nice looking Big Block though!!

Very expensive restoration! Hopefully the door tag shows Castillian Bronze with Black. Had a CA ‘69 J in Castillian Bronze with Parchment interior and vinyl top. Got smarter and a triple black (leather) ‘69 SJ 4 speed resides in the garage. One of the most iconic luxury/muscle cars ever designed. John Delorean was the man!

I love this car, we had a 69’. I was hoping you would show how the tailgate has 2 options. Fold down and the swing opening. Beautiful automobile ❤

An unaffordable amount of money, for a vehicle that wasn't a very good car in the first place and very few living people know how to work on.

I grew up swapping engines into Studebaker's I owned my share of commanders and champions, they were always cheap to buy. One of my G Hawks was a 56 one a 57 both were Packard 352 powered. I My driver's test was taken in my older brother's Gold and White Super Charged 57 Golden Hawk, My brother still misses that hawk
