I wrote this on another video, but I’ll post it here too: What if… his dream is to turn the moon into a giant Jolly Roger? I think that might satisfy a lot of the reactions. Like, Usopp thinking it’s impossible, Zorro getting that look in his eye, Chopper (who holds a special place in his heart for the Jolly Roger) loving the idea. Then, forever more, the world would have a giant Jolly Roger looking down on them as a constant reminder of the freedom that the Straw Hat’s hold so dear. It’s also something I could see Roger coming up with and something that you might have to be pirate king to accomplish. After all, becoming pirate king means you’ve basically conquered the world. You’ve seen it from end to end. And what do you do after you’ve conquered something? You plant your flag. Not that Luffy cares much for conquering the world. And, in fact, “conquering” might be the wrong word. Instead, it’s more that he’s become friends with the whole world. Just like when he gave the Jolly Roger to Wano. It’s also a funny idea. Imagine Luffy’s goofy first version of the Straw Hat Jolly Roger on the moon? That would be hilarious. Idk if I’m onto something here or not, but I would be totally content with this being it.

The extermination of languages may be an attempt by the World Government to bury as many leads as possible. Languages have lineages. If there are languages that are related to the secret ancient language, someone can study them to decipher it. This is likely how the scholars at O'Hara did it. Perhaps Wano has an archaic dialect related to it that the World Government has been unable to eradicate and that's why the Shoguns could read them.
